I have a slight issue that's causing me some inconvenience when using the rule editor within Microsoft Edge (Version 126.0.2592.81).

Whenever I try to load up any ruleset, the ruleset displays an unhappy face like this:

This has only recently started, when opening up the rule editor in another browser e.g. Chrome, the problem disappears.

If Iris does propose to create keys following a sequence, how can we obtain a sequential number in another context?

In my case, I automatically create care centers, and I want to set them a number like:

APP-DD-999

APP = Name of the application used by the center
DD = center department number
999: sequential number in the department
It is of course possible that centers will be created in competition, so this possible competition must be managed.

I am currently using IKO 3.6 to deploy an irisCluster on EKS, but I am facing some challenges. Firstly, I need assistance in understanding how to connect to the Web Gateway sidecar. If anyone has experience with this, I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice you can offer. Secondly, I am trying to utilize the 'seed: path' options of irisDatabases, but I am unsure of the best approach. I have a question about a problem calling a SOAP Web Service.

Indeed, to retrieve data via a Web Service, I need to make 4 calls, one to connect, one to place parameters, one to retrieve data and one to disconnect. Using the EnsLib.SOAP.OutboundAdapter class, I manage to make my first connection call but for the other calls I would need to keep my session cookie otherwise it doesn't consider me as connected. I know it's possible to do this in REST directly in the EnsLib.REST.OutboundAdapter class but I can't find a way to do it in SOAP.

I believe most of you have encounted this problem: a healthconnect/ensemble user get a slow response and ask measurement on how long it takes ensmeble to process this request, the ensemble 'activity data' gives no clue of the delay.

The reason is HealthConnect message measurement was based on ensemble message, which can’t give a correct answer on when ensmeble recevie the request and what time it send back response. when there is delay on inbound/outbound adpter, or csp gateway, there is no way to find out the delay from "activity data" .

Can anyone tell me where to find good resources to learn Caché besides InterSystems. I am looking foe material (ie books, white paper, exercises, ect). There does not seem to be a lot of information on Caché.

Atelier is not translating the indentation spaces used to format XDATA sections in Cache Studio. Lack of these spaces makes the XDATA difficult to read. The styling (coloring) of the code is working just fine. Also, it appears that other class code indentation works fine.

Is anyone else seeing this issue? Has there been any discussion when this issue might be addressed by InterSystems? How shall I get some attention to this issue?

I was wondering if there was a way to easily identify the node depth of a global.

Take the following global example. Is there way to determine the depth is 3?

In my previous articles, I described my Command Line Extension to NativeAPI.
Of course, this is also available for any other NativeAPI package.
So I created this example as a demo for the actual Java Contest.

The package contains also an IRIS server in Docker for the demo
It is evident that it also works with any remote IRIS server.
You just have to provide it with my NativeAPI CommandLine Extension.

I have updated some legacy VB/ASP.NET code and changed the references of InterSystems.Data.CacheClient to InterSystems.Data.IRISClient. I am struggling with the code as I am not a .NET expert and there is little or no documentation.
