Abstract

The European Space Agency (ESA) has chosen InterSystems Caché as the database technology for the AGIS astrometric solution that will be used to analyze the celestial data captured by the Gaia satellite.

The Gaia mission is to create an accurate phase-map of about a billion celestial objects. During the mission, the AGIS solution will iteratively refine the accuracy of Gaia's spatial observations, ultimately achieving accuracies that are on the order of 20 microarcseconds.

According to Databricks Apache Parquet is an open source, column-oriented data file format designed for efficient data storage and retrieval. It provides efficient data compression and encoding schemes with enhanced performance to handle complex data in bulk. Apache Parquet is designed to be a common interchange format for both batch and interactive workloads. It is similar to other columnar-storage file formats available in Hadoop, namely RCFile and ORC. SSL Certificate Error

Hello,

I have recently created a HA by "Cloning" the existing server. Everything worked fine until I have to failover the Primary in order to process. The Backup Failover member successfully promoted to the status of primary. Everything was working fine except on one of the Services, I receieved the following error message;

> ERROR #6156: No match between server name 'Test111b.domain.local' and SSL certificate values 'Test111a.domain.local'.

Currently I have a program that is going to be used to compare global nodes between namespaces. Using nested FOR statements I am stepping through global nodes and comparing between the namespaces, if the global values are different I then parse the node comparing each delimited segment.

This is working.

I want to now be able to set what global I am in as a variable to expand on this concept.

I'm looking for guidance on how best to normalize Height and Weight values to standard units. For example, to accept height as Feet/Inches, Inches, and Centimeters from various sources, but always display Feet/Inches in Clinical Viewer, etc.

If anyone has done this before, please share details of how it was implemented. Things I'd be specifically interested in:

Hi all,

I recently discovered the Monitoring Activity Volume feature in IRIS and I was amazed by it. So, I put it to work in one of our productions. It is nice how easy it is to set up and all the possibilites that came with it.

But there's something weird: the numbers. Actually, one of the BP is stating a time of more than 6 seconds to process:

Hi all,

One of the most useful features for me in IRIS was the queue page. From there, I could see how the different elements (BS, BP & BO) from a production were behaving, thanks to the possibility of auto-refresh every second. Great thing.

But we have updated to 2019.1 and this possibility is gone... we need to refresh manually! So, is there any way to set a parameter somewhere to have the queues status refreshed automatically?

I was understanding the cluster configuration supported by the Cache. Have couple of queries around that:

1. In Cache version 2018.2, there is a shrading concept which splits the data of a Master Data server into multiple small data server which store shraded data.

The context of the rule set contains an ArrayOfDT(I've also tried Collection.ArrayOfDataTypes).

I need to access an element using its key in the rule set using the assign function. I've tried everything I can think of and searched the documentation, but can't find anything. It is probably very obvious.

Can you please help?

JSON - is this a bug??

I'm sharing this ticket just posted to wrc as I believe it is inconsistent behaviour. and other developers may trip over it....

I have found something that appears to me to be inconsistent
Simple example

set x={"theValue":true} write x.theValue
this correctly converts true to 1

However if " (double quotes are placed around it
eg
set x={"theValue":"true"} write x.theValue
it does not convert and displays the string "true"

!!!!!

error message:

but the sql: select * from DHC_PatBillDetails where PBD_PBO_ParRef='2046121' can be executed successfully

why?

While I can see the benefits that $ZSTORAGE could have if used properly, I have not seen it used in the environments I have worked in. I was wondering if there are any developers that promote its usage.

If used properly, I would imagine it could be highly effective in maximizing free memory since some processes will never go over X amount, while others may very well need much more.

How are Stream saved?

Hi, I was working with %sStream.FileBynary and following the doc when I find an info that I'm not sure of.
In the part of the doc where it talks about saving streams, it does not precise where it is saved.
I tried to fill my stream, then rewind, then set the file and finally saved.
And it puts in my default directory with the temporary name.
If I do a zwrite of my stream, I get these properties about the file and directory.
(StoreFile) = "zKc2m8v1.stream"
(NormalizedDirectory) = "C:\InterSystems\Community\mgr\user\stream\"
