Hacking Health Camp 2022 (day 3)

HHC-banner

Hi guys!

The final day of the Hacking Health Camp 2022 in Strasbourg, France, is upon us and today we will see all the wonderful creations of the teams. They worked hard through the night and our teams onsite and online worked with them and answered their questions.

When you deploy code from a repo, class (file) deletion might not be reflected by your CICD system.
Here's a simple one-liner to automatically delete all classes in a specified package that have not been imported. It can be easily adjusted for a variety of adjunct tasks:

set packages = "USER.*,MyCustomPackage.*"
set dir = "C:\InterSystems\src\"
set sc = $SYSTEM.OBJ.LoadDir(dir,"ck", .err, 1, .loaded)
set sc = $SYSTEM.OBJ.Delete(packages _ ",'" _ $LTS($LI($LFS(loaded_",",".cls,"), 1, *-1), ",'"),, .err2)

The first command compiles classes and also returns a list of loaded classes. The second command deletes all classes from specified packages, except for the classes loaded just before that.

Hello, developers!

I would like to share the history of the project - the ZAPM shell.

As soon as ZPM was implemented, I immediately began to think about how best to use it.

And immediately faced with the desire to move more quickly between namespaces, especially when there are more than 20 of them.
I had to leave the ZPM, move to the desired namespace and re-enter the shell.
I suggested an improvement - a new "namespace" command for easier navigation.
I didn’t wait - I did it myself. And so it went. If you need it, get ready to do it yourself.

Introduction

With the maturation and wide acceptance of Java, object-oriented programming has moved to the foreground of the application development landscape. Because of their rich data models and support for productivity-enhancing concepts such as encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism, object technologies like Java, C++, and COM, are favored by today's application developers.

Get familiar with FHIR

🔥 Curious about the FHIR standard that everyone's talking about?

📚 Read on for a brief introduction, then try a brand-new learning path to get more in-depth knowledge!

The HL7® FHIR® standard has revolutionized the way healthcare developers take on the challenges of data interoperability. FHIR allows healthcare systems to exchange information seamlessly, and patient data can be consolidated in real time, regardless of where it's stored.

IntegratedMLandDashboardSample

A simple data analysis example created in IntegratedML and Dashboard

Based on InterSystems' Integrated ML technology and Dashboard, automatically generate relevant predictions and BI pages based on uploaded CSV files. The front and back ends are completed in Vue and Iris, allowing users to generate their desired data prediction and analysis pages with simple operations and make decisions based on them.

Presenter: Alain Houf
Guest Speaker: Joop van Uden of Philips Healthcare
Task: Evolve your data model as you build your application
Approach: Provide a real-world example of how to leverage the flexibility of the document data model and how to easily integrate it into existing environments

Description: Come and learn how you can leverage new technology like the document data model in your current environment. We will explore a customer use case that managed to include this brand new technology within weeks in their current application stack and start to benefit from it.

Problem: Tools that help you build a stable backend, sometimes are in the way when you need to evolve.

Solution: Use flexible data models like the document data model for areas where you have to evolve constantly and mix and match it with the power of the OO and relational model.

Dependencies: Most value if session "The Power of Handling Data without a Schema" was attended before.

Content related to this session, including slides, video and additional learning content can be found here.

My newest app includes a java routine to read data from Excel 95, 97, 2000, XP, and 2003 workbooks and write the data into IRIS globals using Java Native API library.

If you have Git and Docker installed, clone/git pull the repo into any local directory

$ git clone https://github.com/oliverwilms/excel-java-iris.git

Open the terminal in this directory and run:

$ docker-compose up -d

Execute java class IRISNative

In our previous article we presented the general concepts as well as the problem that we wanted to solve by using the task engine integrated in InterSystems IRIS, in today's article we will see how we configure an interoperability production to provide a solution.

Workflow Engine Configuration

First we are going to define the roles of the tasks that we are going to manage, in our example we are going to define two types:

If you have system tables implementing the "VERSIONPROPERTY" functionality, you may encounter error 5800. This article explains how this error occurs and provides solutions to resolve the issue.

When version checking is implemented, the property specified by VERSIONPROPERTY is automatically incremented each time an instance of the class is updated (either by objects or SQL).

For example:

8 0
0 239

With the release of InterSystems IRIS 2021.2 Preview and all-new LOAD DATA functionality dataset can by added with Objectscript Package Manager (ZPM)

Medical Datasets contains following 12 datasets. For dataset tables and data details please visit ONLINE DEMO by using SuperUser | SYS

Zero configuration debugging

The latest release of Serenji by George James Software introduces zero configuration debugging, so it's ready to go in just one click - no matter where you are or what you're doing, your on-the-spot debugger is ready to go.

We have introduced a host of new features to enhance the debugging experience so you can focus on identifying and fixing errors, without losing focus by spending time setting up a launch configuration.

Check out the new features in our release notes

If you've already started using Serenji 3.2.0 let us know how you're getting on!

Wanted to share something I learned recently while working on a problem. We needed to add and change some Business Hosts in one of our edge productions.

In the past, we simply added the production class to CCR and then spreading it around. But there was a problem because different developers were working on different things, and we only wanted to include only the relevent production changes onto the CCR.

Here's a little piece of code that can help add new things to an existing production:
