This is probably not the right place, but I don't know who I can reach out to... I am trying to configure an Apache/Web Gateway to our instance of IRIS so we are no longer using the built-in PWS. Can anyone point me in the right direction to configure Apache/Web Gateway to repoint

http://<server name>:52773/... to the https://<server name>/...

gateway so our users will not notice? How do I do this in Apache, do I need to modify httpd.conf or the ssl.conf file? What is the correct syntax...

I've seen that to install any python library we just need to call this:

C:\InterSystems\IRIS\bin>irispip install --target C:\InterSystems\IRIS\mgr\python geopy

Is there a way to install the libraries in a different directory and set up the system to load the python from that other directory?

I am trying get the Unix time stamp in milliseconds

set epochSecond= $ZDATETIME($ZTIMESTAMP,-2)*1000

but the result is not accurate as $ZDATETIME ignoring /truncating the fraction of the seconds and the milliseconds calculation is not accurate with fraction seconds

for example

set epochSecond= $ZDATETIME($ZTIMESTAMP,-2)

1675830682

when its converts to the milliseconds

it became 1675830682000. not the accurate fractional seconds.

My target system looking for the milliseconds time stamp to authenticate.

I like to validate some use cases and have the following question. I am relatively new to IRIS. Perhaps someone can help:

1. I have a global m[x,y,z,f] distributed across multiple sharded instances
2. I know that i can set assign computed SQL expressions to class variables using Objectscript
3. Is there a possibility in Globals API to do the same ? Set f = x + y as a computed expression in the global m[x,y,z,f] ?

a. We would want to use the global API to change f programmatically using code

What it the best method to call an object without ID but having RowID

I have tried using %OpenId() but it returns null

InterSystems IRIS stores everything in globals and if we use ObjectScript classes to persist data class documents globals it uses in storage. But if you use globals for calculations, temporary storages, for special indexes or for some other purposes - how do you document it?

Possible options which come to my mind:

1. Macro

#define Array ^MyGlobal

usage:

s $$$Array(1)=1

2. Class parameter

Parameter Array ="^MyGlobal";

Context

I have created a Business Operation (BO) named "Sender" that sends HTTP messages to an endpoint (for testing, I'm using Postman's Mock Servers).

Goal: I want to set up an automatic timeout mechanism so that if I don't receive a response from the server within 18 seconds, an alert is generated and the message is resent. This process should be repeated every 18 seconds, for a maximum of 90 seconds. If no response is received within 90 seconds, I would like to generate an error message. On the other hand, if a response is received, I want to stop the resending process and complete the operation by indicating successful reception.
