The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, self disciplined and demonstrated team-player, with keen attention to detail.

You will be a lead developer, responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance and maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support, testing and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews
• Attend meetings once or twice per week at the offices in Pretoria

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 4+ years proven working experience in Software Development
• 4+ years Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Knowledge of REST JSON API's
• Experience in developing backend systems
• Database Knowledge
• Proficient SQL knowledge

Advantage

• 4+ years experience in IRIS/Ensemble from Intersystems
