Am just plain curious about how people may be approaching this area.

The Question

The %SYSTEM.License API wraps an IRIS key that is specific to a range of InterSystems products with

  • Platform features
  • Platform behaviors
  • Expiry date
  • Capacity / Usage limits

If a company is implementing deployed products that:

  • run on top of IRIS
  • optionally support other vendor IRIS products

Hi Community,

Whenever I insert a decimal value with trailing zero(ex:12.0000) value in my JSON object dynamically through %Set method. It truncates the trailing zeros. However If I use literal constructors { } It working as expected. So, In my case the JSON will be generated dynamically. I can't go with "Curly Bracket { } " and the JSON schema not string as well.
Is there any way to fix this?

Hello,

We noticed from the integrity logs that some of the namespaces in our integration engine are using large amount of space ( ~380GB ) for the global ^EnsHL7.Segment.

We have culling implemented for large globals like MessageHeader and MessageBody.

Is it a standard process to implement culling for ^EnsHL7.Segment global and any idea about what will be the impact of adding culling to this global?

Which process notify Web Gateway when to switch to secondary/mirror IRIS? I'm trying to debug a case when the web gateway doesn't know about primary IRIS failure and is trying to send request to that instance which is causing 500 error. Also, no clue why at the same time I see that GET request to /csp/bin/mirror_status.cxw will return 200 OK.

Trying to write multiple records to a file via Record Mapper from a single inbound DFT transaction with multiple FT1 segments. DTL with HL7 DFT inbound and Record Mapper outbound checks field values in both FT1 segment and PV1 segment within a "foreach" loop, and if criteria are met for a particular FT1 then the target fields in the record map are set with values from multiple segments (MSH, PID, PV1, and FT1). Currently in this setup, only the last qualifying FT1 segment's fields will write to the file (if there is more than one qualifying FT1 segment)....How can I set it up so that a ne

Task Manager

Hi Team,

I want to create a task in the task manager to manage the member details. so what i have done let me first brief you :-

1) Created a persistent class to store the custom csv details into a sql table.

2) created a business service to take the custom csv file from a inbound folder and use this class (EnsLib.RecordMap.Service.FileService) to use RecordMap.

First i have created CSV Wizard then RecordMap then DTL and map the fields with csv values.

I have the following servers in IRIS mirror set:
Arbiter; isc_agent only
LIVETC01; IRIS DB full install; Primary
LIVETC02; IRIS DB full install; Backup

A couple of days ago IRIS hung.
The application using LIVETC01 DB stopped functioning.

I'm trying to find out the sequence of events leading up to the failure.

Hello,

I have a problem attempting to store a base 64 encode stream into the OBX:5 field of a HL7 message, by using the StoreFieldStreamBase64 method.

I'm using a transformer to input the contents of a pdf within a stream container (Ens.StreamContainer). The output is a HL7 message (EnsLib.HL7.Message 2.5:ORU_R01).

The transformer is being used in a business process.

Hi Friends ,

We have requirement to load data into chache tables from external database (ref data). This process will take 1 min to complete all data load.

Currently I have created Business Service to trigger Business Operation with out bound db adapter to load data into cache tables.

process will be trigger when i restarted business service.

But requirement is , this business service should be triggered from outside ensemble environment i.e , this should expose as REST endpoint and share with the external team.

Strange Issues with SSIS

I'm trying to extract data from an IRIS database into SQL server with SSIS using the ODBC driver: InterSystems ODBC35 (ODBC-2023.1.0.229.0-win_x64.exe)

I have Unicode turned off in the ODBC settings.
I'm getting strange results - with some tables the SSIS ODBC connector will work but the ADO.net connector - using the same ODBC driver will. For other tables it's the other way round. The ADO.net sees the data as unicode and won't allow me to insert it into a non unicode table but ODBC will be fine.

I want to connect IRIS system as it has all the database tables. on top of that I am creating a REST API in python. How can I connect to IRIS DB. here is my example code for connection

after this connection is created but how can I get tables data. Please let me know more about how we can integrate IRIS database into a python REST API.

I have below scenario

We have IRIS BI Reports in my application. Now these reports currently being acessed by users through dashboard url's.

I want to create a automated utility (background cache system task) which run these bi reports and export them to a specific path.

I am looking for a system method through which we can open these dashboard url's through code and export the excel report to a speciific path.

Hi Team,

Can you please help me to develop EDI X12 to XML and XML to EDI X12 conversion in IRIS 2021.1 for EDI 204, also known as Motor Carrier Load Tender?

Also, suggest flow for how to achieve this kind of functionality in InterSystems IRIS. If you are able to provide some Videos/Documents on the EDI X12 interface for 204 then it would be very helpful for me.
