#InterSystems IRIS

When I installed the IRIS 2021.2 Community Edition, I found some Globals, which seem to be set for the Intersystems Ensemble and DeepSee products. For me that is an annoying design error in those products and only confusing my developers.

As I do not want to use these, I tried to delete them, because they interfere in the list of globals mixed with our own Globals.

But for several of the EnsEdi Globals I get an error message telling me, they can't be deleted, because they are wrong.

Is there a way to get rid of them? Or do I have to wait for a new IRIS version?

Currently, I'm working on a script using %SYS.Journal API.

My journal files are compressed, following the documentation the compression is zstd.

I tried to unzip a file with zstd tool, ex:

apt-get update
apt-get install zstd

zstd -d 20230806.001z -o 20230806.001

20230806.001z        : 92.03%   (909312 => 836859 bytes, 20230806.001) 

Unfortunately, the unzipped file is invalid:

Write ##class(%SYS.Journal.File).IsValidJournal("/usr/irissys/mgr/journal/20230806.001")

I would like to get a list of all globals that have been read or written during a given context. In Portal, there are counters in dashboard that give the number of read/write to globals in general.

What I am looking for :

- some handler (eg: like $ZTRAP) that will be called everytime something is read/written to a global.

- to activate a "global log mode" in Portal that will dump some information to a file (like ^ISCSOAP for SOAP requests).

Anyone have a X12 schema for 852 types concerning supply chain?

We have an IRIS installation on one drive "D"; the drive is a partition that is limited to 2TB in size; we want to move the entire D: contents to a larger partition-type not limited to 2TB.

The IRIS install is on D: as are all of the Databases the instance uses.

Are there any concerns or issues that should be considered or are not so obvious with doing this?

i.e. IRIS and all processes doing disk access to D: need be shutdown first (and a full-backup taken, all journals up to date for mirrors etc).

A new partition of E: created as say 3TB.

Do you know if there is any way to disable the automatic tuning IRIS is doing every time a class is altered? It just takes too long in our case and is holding the system, so I'd like to tune the tables when I decide it (again).

I've seen in the documentation that for 2023 version there is an option present in the backend. But not for 2022, so I assume a flag is needed somewhere.

Currently what I have is:

I had attempted to create a REST Operation before but did not have success. As I am going through the Tutorials and Documentation everything references REST services, but I have a case where I want to create a REST Operation that makes Epic API calls against Interconnect. I have done SOAP operations before and we currently have one in our Production Namespace, but from what I understand SOAP has the wsdl which defines al the structures and etc, where REST does not.

However our org requirement is for a caller to provide the API version in the HTTP request header. I am finding the cleanest way to route to the correct class using the header version. My classes are setup as
