We have a system that gives an AE 'Error' response for warnings, that we want to transform to AA codes when returning the Application ACK.

Fortunately they include a warning code in MSA:6.4 and ERR:4

I am trying to split a HL7 message (RDE O11) into several messages depending on how many RXC segments there are in the message (Two RXC segments would need to two separate HL7 messages)

I have seen a couple of posts regarding this but am struggling with my BP using ObjectScript, the idea is to take the receiving message and split this before passing it onto another BP

I have a question that seems really simple but it's quite a pain in my ass right now.

I had to rename (take a file from a directory and move it to another) which is a .hl7. Whenever this file has been displaced, I have to change the extension from .hl7 to .OK without using the rename method. Maybe using the attribut?

Do you have any ideas how I could do it?

This should follow the step i have explained right before.

I have a service to take the file but i need an operation to rename it then change his name.

I am still trying to track down orphaned messages and have noticed that when we have Business Rules that send to a Business Process that some times there is an orphaned message that is generated as result of that send.

I have created a class that extends file operation, but can't find the object that has the value for the file path. Is that object in pRequest or is there an another object I should be used to see that value?

I want to access the HL7 Router settings from within the HL7 rule. Goal is to create a New class by extending "EnsLib.HL7.MsgRouter.RoutingEngine".

Then create a PARAMETER ProcessMessage which can be set to an integer value for the HL7 Router.

Create a Rule class and based on the value of this setting ProcessMessage
process/not process the messages.

I have been struggling and could use some help as I think I'm burnt. I am trying to change a Textual 2.5.1 OBX;5 with multiple iterations to a simple non-iterating outbound result. I have played around with $piece but can't seem to get it to work. The outcome I would like is for OBX;5 to look like this: |Positive| and currently it looks like this: |Positive~_~_~_~_~|. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Awhile back the Developer community helped me with a situation I was having... How to loop through a Repeating Segment and Single Filed, example OBX().5, within a Business Process Rule and compare it against a Data Lookup table.

Well now I need to take it a step further. I need a way to loop through OBR() segment, and loop through OBR().4() and the subfield 4.1 and compare it to a Data Lookup table.

So I thought I could copy my existing function code and add another level to it, but its not returning what I would expect.

We are setting up an sFTP share between hospital trusts here in the UK and I have set the outbound operation up using a custom extension of EnsLib.HL7.Operation.FTPOperation.

We are configuring a VPN tunnel to run between the sites also so there is a bit of firewall / network routing to take place to enable the connection but to add in a complication we are on a mirrored cluster and usually present on a Virtual IP address.
