Im trying configure the Caché Monitor Manager (^MONMGR) utility for send alert e-mails.
Following the steps I have doubs to configure the options in "Set Server" to send e-mails for hotmail or outlook (smtp-mail.outlook.com).
I dont know how can I configure Mail server SSLConfiguration for hotmail or outlook.
Could you give me help?

NewBie's Corner Session 20 Parameters and Status Part I

Welcome to NewBie's Corner, a weekly or biweekly post covering basic Caché Material.

Parameters

Parameters are another name for Variables when used in passing data from one Routine to another.

Let us say we have 2 routines (RtnA and RtnB), and we want to pass 3 parameters (Parm1, Parm2, Parm3) from RtnA to RtnB.

RtnA would look like:

Hey I am very new to Intersystems Objectscript and I am trying to find a way of extract 4 digit numbers from a stream.

I have a stream full of results

3434

5543

4334

And I am trying to remove each 4 digit grouping from the stream.

I have tried the following for loop

for i=1:1:$length(result) {

set curr = $extract(result, i)

write !, curr

set count(curr) = $get(count(curr)) + 1

}

Unfortunately the loop extracts one digit.

Currently when class is saved in Atelier it is automatically saved on disk and on server (if there is an active connection).

Is there any way to save file with class or routine just on disk, but not on server?

Is it possible to modify a users security from a batch script? If it is possible can someone point me to some examples or documentation?

I've searched the ObjectScript reference for any instances of Upper, Lower or Case and the only thing is a case/switch statement. In all the documentation I can only find SQL and Cache Basic references for things like UCASE.

So how do I do this in ObjectScript?

I had default csp application: /csp/<namespace> for a namespace.

Later I created another application: /csp2/<namespace> and made it default.

Yet all namespace-specific (Ensemble, DeepSee, SQL, etc.) links in management portal still point to/csp/<namespace>.

Is there any way to make the links in management portal point to /csp2/<namespace>?

I was wondering if someone could help me. I do not have docker available to me however a lot of the Open Exchange apps require it. Since I am using a Virtual Windows Machine I can not get docker installed, so I was wondering how to get around this? Someone at GS2022 suggested looking at the docker_compose.yml to figure out how to get around docker, but I am not sure I understand how to read it.

It's possible to enable Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V in IRIS Terminal for Windows.

To do that, open Terminal and select Edit > User Settings and enable Windows edit accelerators. This setting specifies whether the Terminal enables the common Windows edit shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Shift+V), in addition to the basic Terminal edit shortcuts (Ctrl+Insert and Shift+Insert).

After that Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V would work.

Also <SYNTAX> errors after incorrect copy/paste go away.

I have a routing rule that processes messages from multiple customers. I would like to create some sort of flag or setting that I can toggle to indicate if a given customer is allowed to pass messages through the router. Should I use a registry entry, lookup table or something else? Which can be accessed from a routing rule and how?

Hi,in my rule i want to compare a value wich i extract from a file if it's inside in my interval values or no, example:

date1<value>date2

is there any function in rule editor that allow me to do this.

What's the best approach of working with errorlog?

Do you convert it to status? If so - how? Manual iteration over local?

Is there some system method to convert it into %Status?
