Hi community.

I was wondering if it was possible to use something like EnsLib.SQL.InboundAdapter with tables in IRIS.

This library monitors when a record has been inserted into a table in an external database, so it requires a DSN to connect to that database.

My goal is to make a call to an external API that takes a long time, it could spend nearly an hour (or more) completing its processes, but I don't want to block the main process.

Error importing XSD

I'm attempting to import all the FHIR XSD files provided by http://hl7.org/fhir but get the immediate and unhelpful error message:

I've tried different versions of EOLs to no avail. Any idea what this error could mean?

When I started my journey with InterSystems IRIS, especially in Interoperability, one of the initial and common questions I had was: how can I run something on an interval or schedule? In this topic, I want to share two simple classes that address this issue. I'm surprised that some similar classes are not located somewhere in EnsLib. Or maybe I didn't search well? About exporting mapped globals

When exporting using the Export() method of the %Library.Global class, if the export format (fourth argument: OutputFormat) is set to 7, "Block format/Caché block format (%GOF)," mapped globals cannot be exported (only globals in the default global database of the namespace are exported). To export mapped globals in "Block format/Caché block format (%GOF)," specify the database directory to which you want to map them in the first parameter of %Library.Global.Export().

An example of execution is shown below.

Our vendor is developing an interface API on their end to capture HL7 data on a Server Port, and they require us to send a pre-defined HL7 Order message for testing every hour until the API is completely operational.

Is it possible to accomplish that in a Business Operation automatically without utilizing a service or process? The BO is a standard TCP/IP connection.

I'm manually sending the message again from the Operations right now. I do not have access to the System Operation to use the Task Manager feature.

Create Python pages

Hi Guys,

How can I create Python pages instead of CSP or Zen pages, not familiar with Python and the only way I know is using embedded Python as methods as attached below?

CSP WebApp - IIS

Hi,

How do I create CSP page in IIS to be loaded from the class?

Im able to open my index.html but I have class webapp.init.cls which extends %CSP.Page which should generate html. If I write localhost/myapp/webapp.init.cls I just got an error Invalid action.

In IIS Handler Mappings I did setup for *.cls and *.csp files.

Hello, we are currently using the Cache Database released in January 2018.

There are no specific classes or SQL mappings in the namespaces where data is stored.

Only a few routines(.mac) and stored data are in the global area.

In this case, when accessing the Cache DB through Java, is it essential to write SQL mappings or wrapper classes? The reason I ask is that our team doesn't have advanced developers who specialize in Cache.

Alternatively, is it possible to directly call pre-existing routines from Java?

Docker IRIS_Community Mount

Hello,

i am building a new container with Docker-Compose with a --volume ./:/irisdev/app:rw to mount a host volume (UBUNTU).

If i try to create some data in /irisdev/app i have no write permission

If i open a bash host session i see all mounted files of my ./ directory. But with ls -l only UID 100 has write permission. The UID for "iris owner" is 52773.

Is there a way to set the UID and Group to "iris owner" ?

Hello Community,

We use $ZF(-1 synchronous call to generate the pdf files. Now I want to change to asynchronously. So, I use $ZF(-100 with "/ASYNC" function. I use "/ASYNC" directly write $ZF(-100,"/ASYNC","notepad.exe") in windows/linux it throws the <NOTOPEN> error, However If I use $ZF(-100,"/ASYNC /SHELL","notepad.exe") it opens the notepad without issues.

Hi ,

I am sending my DTL response (which is an xml stream) to an FTP out location.

My XML stream has CRLF , but after sending FTP'ing out , it displays as LF

before writing it to FTP

At FTP out location

What Chatset will do it ? Currently Charset is set as Binary.

Appreciate quick response.
