Hi Community,

I am attempting to create a new table by executing a SELECT statement that involves joining multiple tables. However, I encountered an error during execution: '( expected, AS found^Combined AS.' I would also like to create a cube based on this SQL table. However, during the cube creation process, I am prompted to specify a source class, and I'm unsure which class to use as it requires an existing class. Could you please help me identify the issue with the table creation, and provide guidance on selecting the appropriate source class for the cube creation?"

Hey everyone.

I was curious if anyone had any success/tips with regards to using a global or a system parameter/property to control the behavior of a transform or process/operation.

Is there a parameter I can currently reference from the system that can be used for an if/else, or am I best off creating a simple Global and setting it according to the environment I am in?

I just want to know if there is a difference in performance between using Class methods versus MAC routines?

For example:

Could any one tell me, how the index works in cache db, Consider for example, I have a table called "Employee" and the fields as "EMPID, EMPNAME, EMPAGE" and I am having index for EMPID as IDX_EMPID and trying to get the record using the following query as

SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEE WHERE EMPID="005"

and the table data be like

EMPID EMPNAME EMPAGE

001 ABC 20

002 AAA 21

003 ABB 23

004 BBB 20

005 BDF 24

I have an HL7 message that contains NTE segment with line break inside.

when I try to transform it (with DTL) it stops reading the message after the line break inside the NTE because it treat that as "End of Message".

Is there a way to solve this in the DTL or I need to run a pre process on the HL7 message that identify the line break inside the NTE segments and replace it with an escape char?
