Here is what is currently used.

..CurrentDateTime("%Y%m%d%H%M%S")

The format is not the issue.

I need to make it our current time as it is five hours ahead.

How can I access the header property of either of these.

Or, if I can't do that, subtract five hours or the equivalent time in seconds.

example, if I receive 20201224161922, how can I make it 20201224111922?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Setting up MQTT connection

Hi,

My understanding that in IRIS we create an Inbound Adapter that would act like a Broker (connecting to server X) then have an MQTT outbound adapter to receive those messages?

Is there a quick sample that we could user to show how to setup these two Adapters, I started with this but I couldn’t for example find EnsLib.MQTT.Adapter.Inbound

New to using Analytics and using Dashboards. We have this Report, SQL Query that lists out the Activity per Data Source in Health Share Provider Directory. Instead of running it as a report, because it takes a while to run, was wondering if there is a way to do this as a Dashboard instead.

How can I take the SQL from this report and create a Dashboard instead?

Hi,

We're working on new capabilities to help you build Agents and AI applications faster with InterSystems IRIS. In order to better understand which entry points and development methodologies would help you most, we've created this brief survey: Building AI solutions with InterSystems IRIS.

Filling it in should not take much more than 5 minutes, and your feedback on this exciting topic will help us fine tune our designs and prioritize the right features.

Thanks in advance!

Hi community,

I have a service that uses EnsLib.RecordMap.Service.FTPService to capture files in an FTP directory.

Instead of uploading them all at once, I would need to do so one at a time.

I have a class that extends this class because it preprocesses, saves everything in the RecordMap class, and then processes all the records at once.

When I invoke the BP, it does so through the method set tStatus = ..SendRequest(message, 1).

I've set the SynchronousSend flag to 1, but it continues processing all the files at once.

Hi Guys,

I get the below error when trying to compile an imported class in IRIS, it compiles if I remove [ Collection = list ] so not sure about the use of [ Collection = list ] and if removing it would affect anything and its just a duplication?

I am attempting to follow the tutorial at Publishing Web Services Using Caché | Caché Web Services QuickStart Tutorial | Caché & Ensemble 2018.1.4 – 2018.1.11 to build a toy SOAP web-service using Cache but am running into what I suspect are permissions issues, or perhaps setting up the "plumbing" to get an incoming request to call the web-service methods.

Hi everyone.

I'm going to give you a quick tip on how to implement an AI agent to search the Intersystems documentation integrated into Teams.

Yes, I know the documentation page has its own AI search engine and it's quite effective, but this way we'd have faster access, especially if Teams is your company's corporate tool.

You can also create another AI agent to search articles published in the developer community (which also has its own integrated AI search engine).

The default request class, Ens.Request is fine for our initial workflow.

We want to define other workflows that will reuse the same BPL class. These workflows would send messages inbound to the BPL as different request classes.

Is this possible or is it required that we send in a request class matching the context request class in the context tab?

Thank you

Hi developers!

There is a very neat variable in IPM ${ipmdir} that lets packages be installed on a particular IRIS server and ensures that the data and resources they bring don't mess around as ${ipmdir} variable during the installation transforms into:

iris installation dir/ipm/package_name/version/whatever_you_install_here

It is very convenient, e.g., to bring some data and resource files that can be useful during the installation setup, e.g., via FILECOPY. Indeed, suppose you bring some csv_file, e.g. titanic.csv via FILECOPY as:

<FileCopy Name="data/titanic.csv" Target="${ipmdir}data/titanic.csv"/>

or even the whole folder of data in the source code repo into the package:

<FileCopy Name="data/" Target="${ipmdir}data/"/>

And in the case of Iris in Docker it resides in:

/usr/irissys/ipm/package_name/1.0.0/data/titanic.csv

This is all great, but is there any way for the installed code to determine the location of the data files? It'd be neat to let the installed app know somehow where is the data that came with it? Could it be the method in the IPM client that will resolve ${ipmdir} for the app?

Only method/routine executed as "do Method..." is included into $ESTACK.
How can I modify a method or routine that returns a value so it can be included in $ESTACK?
Example upon executing via Studio Debug ($ESTACK is converted to string with ">" delimiter):
Expected: stackstr = %Debugger.System.DebugStub > LogGenerate > Entry > DirChain > Attributes > LogNew > LogSize > LogFormat > LogWrite
Processes DirChain, LogNew, LogSize, LogFormat are executed as "If Method..."
