A new release of ZPM has been published 0.5.0

New in this release

• Added support for Python's requirements.txt file
• Using tokens for publishing packages
• Fixed various issues

Python's requirements.txt

Now, if your project uses Python embedded and requires some Python's dependencies, you can add requirements.txt file to the project, as usual for any Python project, file have to be in the root of a project next to module.xml. And with load command or install command, ZPM will install dependencies from that file with using pip.

Let me introduce the latest update on the Global Masters gamification hub!

We reorganized the challenges under the "Challenge" tab - now all the challenges are sorted into channels (folders). We hope that will help new people navigate the hub and easier find the most relevant challenges. Home page remains the same. Check it out!

We are seeking an InterSystems Object Developer With Docker Experience to join our team! You will develop and implement unique web-based applications.

This role is Remote, Full Time and a 1099 position.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years InterSystems Object Technology developing applications utilizing industry best practices for software development.
• 2+ years using Docker

The new production component driver for Deltanji enables highly granular management of InterSystems Interoperability Productions with tight integration into the management portal. We presented it at the InterSystems UK&I summit this week and it received a great reception. 

It solves the current pain-point of Interoperability Productions being defined in a single monolithic class definition. Deltanji source control increases the granularity with which items can be managed. Instead of versioning a single class definition containing all the configuration items, this new component driver allows individual configuration items to be managed separately. Each configuration item has its own versioning and revision history and can be checked-out, checked-in, and deployed independently of any other items in the same Production.

Because each configuration item within a production class is managed by Deltanji as a first-class component in its own right, Deltanji provides all the source control, versioning, and workflow capabilities that it provides for any other component.

Starting today, we have release the new CCR view page to beta users!

As the view page contains a lot of functionality, we are giving users the ability to toggle their session between the new UI and the classic UI view pages. Your sessions will default to the classic UI for now, but beta users will see a "View in New UI" button in the nav bar for Tier 0 and 1 CCRs:

Similarly, the new UI page will have a "View in Classic UI" button at the top:

We're super excited to announce the 1st meetup of the Developer Community in Valencia, Spain! 🎉

It will take place on November 16 in the afternoon, from 12 to 14 PM, at the Westin Valencia hotel – the same place and day as the InterSystems Iberia Summit, which will be held there during days 16 and 17.

The Developer Meetup is the perfect event to meet other members of the Community in person, share experiences, solve doubts, learn tips & tricks, tools, and resources... and talk face-to-face with InterSystems experts!

The Meetup is open and informal. So, it is open to suggestions and to any member of the Developer Community in Spanish. And it is free, of course. All the Meetup attendees will have a present, as a keepsake from the day. And at the end of the Meetup, we will do a Kahoot quiz, with great prizes for the winners. Ah, we'll also have some pizza and drinks, the developers' food 😉

The goal of the Meetup is to make the most of the networking, but you can also participate in the event by doing a presentation.

InterSystems Interoperability Productions are defined in a single monolithic class definition. A production can contain many hundreds or thousands of configuration items. This presents a problem if multiple developers are working on different Business Processes within the same production simultaneously. Simultaneous development is almost inevitable for large productions containing many configuration items.
