How to read the HL7 V2.5 messages irrespective of message type to Iris database ?
Source system sends HL7 messages of multiple message types to Intersystems through TCP and these messages are to be inserted/read into iris SQL database.
In show Query messages in the message viewer the head.%Id is always used. How do you do this via your own sql/objectscript as fast as the portal does a search as using dates searching Ens.MessageHeader on portal is slow.
For instance if you try do a search saying (TimeProcessed >='2023-06-01 00:00:00.000' and TimeProcessed <'2023-06-02 00:00:00.000') it is slow but using the portal the search would know this is head.%ID >= 5344549861 AND head.%ID <= 5347641372. How do you utilize this in your own queries as can't see the logic in EnsPortal.MsgFilter.Assistant
Is it planned that LOAD DATA takes into account several DATE/DATETIME formats with, for example, a parameter indicating the format used in the source data?
example :
LOAD DATA .../...
USING
{
"from": {
"file": {
"dateformat": "DD/MM/YYYY"
}
}
}
I want to connect the app to Cloud SQL but when I registered and created the deployment (trial) I got the error:
Did anybody face such an error? During the creation of an account, there was a message like 'username is taken' but the account have been created anyway. Maybe it could cause this problem.
When I use Escape logic when inserting or updating Oracle Table I'm getting Max-Length exceeded error. With the original value the length is good but after I add Escape Logic, it causes value to be greater than max-length. The original value was "I visited O'Brien before heading out of town." and after added Escape logic it was "I visited O''Brien before heading out of town." Max-Length is 45.
INSERT INTO MyText
(text)
VALUES
('I visited O''Brien before heading out of town.')

I am very new to IRIS. We are developing a PHP application that connects to an IRIS instance of one of our vendors. This works well most of the time, but when I query a table to get data from particular fields that contain long text strings, it returns `NULL`. These fields are all `VARCHAR(30000)`.
DBA has asked me to configure a working Business Operation using a SQL.OutboundAdapter (connecting to external MSSQL server) to run as TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ UNCOMMITTED.
I would like help with an example of how this is done.
I am trying to execute my SQL query using ExecDirect() method and it returns a ResultSet. No doubt it works fine after this I am trying to fetch each value using a loop code below. But before that, I am also checking for %SQLCODE = 100 which is for an empty resultset I think. However, It is not working as desired. In the case of an empty resultset also I am getting %SQLCODE = 0 until result.%Next() is called. Also, %ROWCOUNT is giving 0 in a case where my query is return 1 result row. I am so confused about this. while resultset.%Next() {
hi,
I followed the example of the system and wrote a method to connect to an external database to obtain a result set, but I couldn't get the result.
can anyone please help on this.
I am using %Library.ResultSet to execute my query which I have something like this. Query GetABC() As %SqlQuery [SqlProc]{
}
After I execute this query and a resultset it returns from this. Now What I want to know is the SQL statement which will have the values dynamically added into while execution.
The system I am working on processes large numbers of records. Inserts, updates and so forth. There are multiple processes that can potentially work on the same table at the same time.
It is an almost impossible task to try and time these processes to not run at the same time, due to volumes, SLAs, etc.
Every now and then there are a few locking issues, Not many considering the volumes. It is just a bit of a nuisance as we need to reprocess these records later.
I cannot get any further hint from the error message in red in this screenshot. Is there any clue or details about the connection failure that I could look for?
I am trying to fetch resultset using the below code -
set rs = ##class(%ResultSet).%New("Simple.Person:ValidateAge")
do rs.Execute()
it is giving me error while the same code I run it through iris terminal worked fine. I want to understand that problem behind this. Also how can I check the possible methods that I can use on 'rs' somewhat dir() does in python.
Using VECTOR_COSINE() in SQL query to perform a text similarity search on existing embeddings in a %VECTOR column.
Code is below.
Commented out sql query returns this error: SQLCODE: -29 Field 'NEW_EMBEDDING_STR' not found in the applicable tables^ SELECT TOP ? maxID , activity , outcome FROMMain .AITest ORDER BY VECTOR_COSINE ( new_embedding_str ,
Sql query as written returns ERROR #5002: ObjectScript error: <PYTHON EXCEPTION> *<class 'OSError'>: isc_stdout_write: PyArg_ParseTuple failed!
I am facing some issues. I am having a SQL query that is executed using %SQL.Statement ExecDirect() method. Now I want to convert it into Embedded SQL using &SQL(). But where clause is dynamic in my case and It may contain 3-4 clauses.
Any recommendations on how i can add a logic if an incoming record that is already existing in the table but different total amount value. I need to subtract the totalamt value on the input file vs the totalamt value on the table and update the table with the difference of totalamt. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
If I had: ________________________________________ Class MN.Student Extends %Persistent { Property Name As %String; ________________________________________ Class MN.Course Extends %Persistent { Property TeacherName As %String; Relationship StudentName As MN.Student [ Cardinality = one, Inverse = Name ]; ________________________________________
For "Cardinality = one" the SQL line below would be sufficient for archiving INSERT INTO MN.Course (TeacherName, StudentName) VALUES ('Pierre','3')"
Tring to Performing following script in IRIS but do not know how to format Date. Normally, I would use TO_DATE or TO_TIMESTAMP in the actual queue statement below, but since I'm using Prepared Statements, I do not know how to format date in 'values' that is being used in the %Execute. It generates errors. I'm updating an Oracle Database via a SQL JDBC Gateway Connection. Does anyone know how to pass in Dates?
I'm trying to build a cube based on a linked table but seems that IRIS is not able to do it :O
Long story short, I have a linked table in IRIS that sources a Microsoft SQL table (using standard linked feature from the portal). It works fine, I can access it using SQL as many other times. On top of that, I've created in DeepSee (ok, Analytics) a cube that uses this class as source. It compiles correctly, no errors given. When I build it with 100 records, all goes well and using Analyzer I can see results.
A bit of an old school CSP question. <csp:search> is a really nice, quick way to make easy lookups for CSP pages, especially for back office stuff that doesn't need to look pretty for the modern web app user.
When running a sql insert query with CONVERT('datetime', '2023-12-12 11:27:00',120) in an insert statement into a table this works on one server and not the other.
I am attempting to create a new table by executing a SELECT statement that involves joining multiple tables. However, I encountered an error during execution: '( expected, AS found^Combined AS.' I would also like to create a cube based on this SQL table. However, during the cube creation process, I am prompted to specify a source class, and I'm unsure which class to use as it requires an existing class. Could you please help me identify the issue with the table creation, and provide guidance on selecting the appropriate source class for the cube creation?"
