I'm looking for an efficient way in DBeaver to filter system tables (ex: belonging to a schema starting with "%").
By using a user with the %All role, DBeaver shows us a long list of system schemas, which forces us to go down the list before accessing the user tables.
Ran into an issue with our upgrade from HealthShare Health Connect 2018.1.3 to IRIS HealthShare Health Connect 2022.1, that I thought I would reach out about, I already have a ticket open with WRC and started a chat on Discord. We have a couple of MS SQL tables that I have setup as Linked Tables within Cache to query NPI, Patient Account Information, Visit information, etc... When we upgraded last week we found that within a day or even a half a day that we were having problems with our JDBC connections.
This applies to embedded and dynamic SQL queries in Caché ObjectScript. If I attempt to terminate the process via Management Portal, nothing happens. Neither does Ctrl C nor closing the terminal window in which my program is running, nor setting a stop flag in a global which is read by the program on each loop iteration. The only way to stop the query appears to be restarting the Caché server (which is running locally on my PC).

I want to fetch data type of column value returned from above. eg - Name - VARCHAR, amount - INTEGER etc. How can I get it. Or if not possible directly. Is there any other way to validate or get datatype of values returned. Line we have type() in python3
I am trying to find out individual segment values in Message viewer and it display the values in Management portal, copied the query and run it on SQL editor, Segment values displayed with blank. Is there a way to get the individual segment values using query?
1. The %ObjectSelectMode is working perfectly in the DynamicSQL for the object property in direct query. However this is not supported for class query. Is there any way to resolve this / Get the object value for class query result.
I need to run a SQL query and use the output to map PV1 7.1. The query is :
SELECT ID FROM TestTable WHERE ProviderName = 'TEST,PROVIDER' AND IDType= 'BPI'
When I run this query with the 'TEST PROVIDER' I do pull the ID in question but I can't figure out how to do it from the DTL given that there are various providers sent in PV 1 7 . Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for the syntax or the way to use a class created in the "BNA" Namespace (my application) from the %SYS Namespace.

I have a "BNA" application contained in the "BNA" NS, this application provides a user creation functionality. This feature creates both the user in a table in the application and in the Iris system.
I found the thread that discusses object mapping, in particular mapping a common global among more than one namespace. The example that is given is a simple one when it's ^global(sub1, ^global(sub2, etc. However I'm having trouble getting this to compile/work when the global has a fixed subscript amongst variable ones.
I have this global in namespaces LAB and ARK in the following format:
^CB(1,sub1)=....
^CB(1,sub2)=...
^CB(1,sub3)=...

The program below works perfectly when I call it directly from the Terminal, however when I call it from within a CSP it does not work (It does not do the SELECT).
In the USER namespace, the program works both in the Terminal and on the CSP , but in another namespace it only works when called directly in the Terminal.
Generally we could insert the stream object through SQL for stream properties and insert the list values for list of %String property. So, Is there any way to achieve this insert for the list of objects property( ex: Property CodeTable As list of Sample.CodeTable) via SQL?
I am very new to IRIS. We are developing a PHP application that connects to an IRIS instance of one of our vendors. I am having trouble with a specific table. When I need to query this specific table for specific fields, I am receiving an error. However, if I change the call to get all columns (`*`), there is no error. I get 37K records returned.
We are doing a SQL server upgrade to SQL server v.15 from a legacy server which had v.10 . I have our Cache server as a linked server int order to pull data from our system. When building out the ROWSPEC, I have my fields typed as %String with various lengths with one field having a max length of 15000. The SQL server is trying to interpret this as a text data type instead of varchar(n). Text is a depracated data type since SQL server 2008. Hi all, I am using ExecDirect() method to execute my SQL query which is something like "SELECT * from Account where AccountNumber = ? " But when I am providing a accountnumber that don't exists it doesn't return anything as aspected. while I am trying to check resultset.%SQLCODE in this case it is giving me 0 not 100. What's wrong with my SQL query and Also I there any other Property through which I check for if my resultset is null or it has some values.
So last night I was doing a deployment which had a query to select from a large dataset of joined tables, to iterate through and populate data in a new table.
This was done in a classmethod using embedded SQL and the %PARALLEL keyword. On a testing environment with the same dataset, this worked perfectly a few days earlier.
Do you know if there is any way to disable the automatic tuning IRIS is doing every time a class is altered? It just takes too long in our case and is holding the system, so I'd like to tune the tables when I decide it (again).
I've seen in the documentation that for 2023 version there is an option present in the backend. But not for 2022, so I assume a flag is needed somewhere.

I am using ExecDirect() method to get SQL resultset of type %SQL.StatementResult.
now I am fetch a column something like this rs.%Get("Amount") but if amount column is empty then it is return me empty string. If There is any way to set something like this in IRIS rs.%Get("Amount",0.00) if that is possible.
