Representational state transfer (REST) is a software architectural style that defines a set of constraints to be used for creating Web services. We have a Cache database in Azure, and want to expose it as an OData source (link).
My first attempt was to use Microsoft's Visual Studio 2017 and Entity Framework to create the data models...but it seems as if EF and Cache don't work together. (I do have those instructions from 2013, but they don't work. (See other post. Best answer seems to be "migrate to IRIS 2019.1.")

For Fhir calls, we use the FHIR Interoperability Adapter. This works perfectly; a message comes in as HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Request, and a message HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Response goes out. I can make adjustments as needed to both the request and response. I am looking for the same functionality, but then for non-FHIR REST calls.
I have tried many methods from super classes of %CSP.REST but I can't find a method I can override that will run after the %response object is created so I can set a header that is common to each implementation method. It's one line of code in each method to set the header but it would like to make it super easy, simple and just have a method that runs on, before, after the implementation method to set this common header (we want to return the API version in each responses HTTP headers.
Hello everyone! I am wondering how I can retrieve multipart form-data from a request that is coming into my REST-service. I am supposed to retrieve a string and a file. The file is being retrieved without issues, but the "testprofile" string is not being retrieved at all. It just logs a an empty entry. The request that is sent to my REST-service has the Content-Type: multipart/form-data Thanks beforehand for the help! :)

I am currently part of a team that is developing an application using Microsoft PowerApps as the front end and IRIS as the backend. Effectively that frontend screens, which are house and an Azure serve, call a series of REST interfaces exposed by IRIS from a physical Microsoft server. During the development stage we have not had any security in place but now we need to secure the application using a single sign on. I'm currently re-engineering an application from CSP pages directly accessing COS Methods, to an Angular/Material front end accessing a REST DAL. Both the Angular front end and REST services are hosted from the same Caché instance and the same namespace, but the REST services have their own CSP application, with all calls being routed through a Dispatch class.
Does anyone send alerts via API / Web Services to an application such at Tivoli or CA Spectrum? If so, can you share what commands you send? e.g. If connection is down or queue depth > 200. Thanks.
