I've been working for 19 years in the technology field, and on this journey, I was able to be part of several projects on numerous fronts; however, the health area is one of the areas that attract me the most.

So whenever we get a chance to create something focused on health, using the FHIR protocol is exciting.

But, a team of 3 IT guys with a tech background would not be enough to deliver something really useful, and for a topic as important as women's health, we brought to the team someone who really understands the subject.

Hello,

I would like to get a list of all globals that have been read or written during a given context. In Portal, there are counters in dashboard that give the number of read/write to globals in general.

What I am looking for :

- some handler (eg: like $ZTRAP) that will be called everytime something is read/written to a global.

- to activate a "global log mode" in Portal that will dump some information to a file (like ^ISCSOAP for SOAP requests).

Hi folks!

I have an example where I want to write a string into a file.

I have a message with string and I want to write the string down into a file.

I took EnsLib.FilePathThrough.Operation which expects Ens.StreamContainer message.

So I perform a data transformation where I need to transfer string to a stream. Here is the DataTransformation:

In VSCode using the InterSystems extensions, I now have an almost working environment where routines can be created or modified on disk and these are pushed to the developer's IRIS instance.

One issue I'm finding whilst testing is that if I rename or delete a routine from disk, the change isn't pushed to IRIS and I can't work out how to make this happen.

Under the previous python binding method (Cache) it was possible to pass in parameters, execute a class query, and fetch the result sets. I have been unable to find a way to do this via PYODBC or the Native API (perhaps I am just missing something).

My work around is to create a SQLquery string and execute it through a cursor. I would much prefer to simply execute the debugged and more secure class queries that already exist and and have been precompiled.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Sinon

Hi developers,

Serenji 3.2.0, the latest version from George James Software, was released last week and our current users have been enjoying trying out the new features (which you can find more about here).

If you're thinking about trying Serenji for the first time, we've made it easier to get set up by adding a walkthrough on the VS Code Welcome page. It takes you through:

  • Setting up the server components.
  • Selecting a server namespace.
  • Saving and extending your workspace.
  • Requesting a debug license (don't forget we offer a free 30 day trial!)

We've also added prompts and guidance throughout VS Code to open and add Serenji folders to your workspace and when going to run and debug code.

This is just one of the ways we've enhanced the Serenji debugger to make straightforward and easy to use - so all you need to do is focus on your code.
