Hi Everyone!

We have an existing process (running in FIFO order), all business hosts having pool size=1.

Currently we are reading records from a file (one record at a time) then that record goes to business process for further processing and finally through the business operation. As of now we are using synchronous call in our existing code. Before processing the last record we are using hang of 50 seconds because we need to initiate a batch once the processing of last record is finished.

Is there any way of saving a representation of the results of a query created in the Message Viewer to a file - most obviously CSV.

We are reasonably adept at creating queries. We'd like to be able to send the output to a file, rather than resorting to cut'n'pasting from the message viewer window...

Is this possible? (on any version of Ensemble/Iris?)

I'm trying to access the Bearer token from the Authorization header in my REST service class, but I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error when I try to use %request.GetCgiEnv("HTTP_AUTHORIZATION").

My Environment:

  • InterSystems ensemble 2018
  • Using EnsLib.REST.Service with HTTP Inbound Adapter
  • REST API URL: http://ip:port/api-kiosk/patientData

Our vendor is developing an interface API on their end to capture HL7 data on a Server Port, and they require us to send a pre-defined HL7 Order message for testing every hour until the API is completely operational.

Is it possible to accomplish that in a Business Operation automatically without utilizing a service or process? The BO is a standard TCP/IP connection.

I'm manually sending the message again from the Operations right now. I do not have access to the System Operation to use the Task Manager feature.

Some languages ​​have the concept of a garbage collector for automatic memory management. I'd like to know if something like this exists in InterSystems Caché in the context of routines, %CSP.REST, or %CSP.Page.

The question arises from the %Close() method of the %RegisteredObject class. This indicates that I need to manually clear the object from memory if it's no longer in use, or in the web context, if the request has completed. Is this correct? Or am I completely wrong?

HL7 Pass-through interface

For historic reasons we've got a mix of ADT feeds coming out of our PAS (TrakCare) to a wide range of downstream systems. In particular, there are some that are direct from TrakCare to the downstream systems, and many more that pass through Ensemble as our integration engine.

This is complicating management of the integrations, and so we'd like everything to go through the integration engine. In other words move from the flow in the top of the diagram to the flow in the bottom of the diagram:

Dear, Community!

I have a concern about using %Stream.TmpCharacter for storage purposes. Reading the class's source code, I can understand a bit about how it works. But I'd like to know from the community how it actually works. Is it necessary to use the .Clear() method to clear this buffer, or is it done automatically upon disposal?

Studio's Find In Files finds nothing if CLS routines are included. The error is WIDE CHAR. After using ##class(%Studio.Project).FindInFiles programmatically and then ZW after the same error I strongly suspect that CodeWalkopdatecopyopt in EnsLib.InteropTools.HL7.Cloverleaf.Parser.cls is to blame. I cannot even open this class, unlike other classes from EnsLib.InteropTools.HL7.

Hello,

I'm trying to get the Reply Action Code to work with the error message text.

I have this ACK:

MSH|^~\&|APP|FACIL|||20250821143621||ACK|CUEACK_20250821143621|P|2.4
MSA|AE||Failed to queue message

This is some of the Action Codes I've tried:

  • E*Failed to queue message=S
  • E*Failed=S
  • E*"Failed to queue message"=S
  • :E*Failed to queue message=S
  • :?E*Failed to queue message=S

It's not suspending the message however.

What am I doing wrong?

Management Portal and IIS

When accessing management portal through IIS the page is not fully rendered and the buttons/links that are displayed don't work.

Management Portal works fine through private web-server.

Have just set up IIS/CSP Gateway to access Ensemble, and accessing the CSP Gateway configuration pages through IIS works fine (screenshot at end of post).

This is the view when accessing management portal through IIS (port 80) - missing images, links don't work, not all content displayed:

Is it possible to audit code changes in a namespace?

Ideally what we'd like to be able to do is check which classes were compiled (or deleted) in a time period, eg in last 3 months, and which user made those changes. Even better would be an audit of what those changes were, but that's less important (for us, as we can probably find that information in other ways).

We have classes in a Production environment that are causing us some issues - example attached.

When we export them from the production environment the XML contains a snippet like the following:

DTL help - resolved, great help

New at DTL. I need some pointers on this DTL

For all Prosthetics orders:
when ORC-1(Order Control) is "NW" (New Order), need to update OBR-18(Placer Field 1) based on PV1-2 (Patient Class) value.
assumption is that the selection logic is that all prosthetics orders with OBR-18 field is always blank.
Description :
If PV1-2 is I, insert I in OBR-18
If PV1-2 is O, insert O in OBR-18
If PV1-2 is E, insert O in OBR-18
If PV1-2 is P, insert O in OBR-18
If PV1-2 is R, insert O in OBR-18
If PV1-2 is B, insert O in OBR-18

Hey everyone.

I'm currently looking at a process where we're utilising the Class Ens.StreamContainer, and was looking to do some deletions outside of any purge routines.

Having been burned before, I wanted to make sure that deleting the container also deletes the contents within.

From looking in the class, the %OnDelete ClassMethod appears to be removing an index from a search table and nothing more.

We are receiving the report in text format and it has special characters like ', - like that in the text. Source system is using the UTF8 encoding format hence the text is showing as ' � ' . Is there a way to convert the utf8 to actual character in the DTL.
