Is there a way to read JSON and transform it (in DTL) by using a VDOC of this JSON (without transform it to internal message) like I can do with HL7 or XML?

If it possible, I guess that I should have a schema of the JSON so the second question is how to build a schema for JSON and load it to the IRIS?

We have a scenario where a bad message(With control character in some fields) is coming frequently in our Standard HL7 Business Service.

I do see the process gets shut down because of E=D action code. I also see the service logging an "Warning" about the bad message. But service is not shutting down.

Is there a way to handle this error right at the service to avoid multiple processes going down? Not sure if we can create a task, which audits the service logs every few minutes. But that will involve some coding and checking of time when the errors happens.

My Ensemble platform worked well before.

Since yesterday , I found out lot of slow request ,I opened trace for one message.

as above shown.

It take about 8s from HisEmrRouter to ADTRoutingRule.

In my opinion, HisEmrRouter And ADTRoutingRule is Simple Rule, should't do IO operation. should be pure compute.

Why does it take so long to process the routing?

All of the sudden, Cache Studio's Debug->Run command started to fail with error '6704 Target has exited debugger' (German: Kein Anbinden möglich). What could be a reason of that? Today we installed Cache Web Terminal (https://intersystems-community.github.io/webterminal/
), could it be possible that the terminal somehow hijacked some debugging api end-point?

I have a custom classes that that I use with EnsLib.SQL.OutboundAdapter to convert HL7v2 messages to SQL INSERT statements to write results to an SQL database.

Weirdly the management portal is not drawing the the lines between my process and operation when viewing my production on the ' Ensemble > Production Configuration' screen. Clicking the green dot flashes the 'computing connections' message, and highlights my operation, but no lines get rendered:

As part of my dysfunctional journey with FHIR, I'm looking at using the SDA3 within Healthshare to then convert to the HSFHIR format.

This is working surprisingly well, except I'm falling over when it comes to repeating fields within the SDA3 when creating the HS.SDA3.Patient object manually from within Cache.

If I take the Patient ID as an example - within a DTL, I can quite easily take an MRN and add that to the target PatientNumbers.(1).Number and then add an NHS number to the target PatientNumbers.(2).Number.

I'm working on a task where I need to apply journal file records to another database. I can't use Journal.Restore class methods as I need to perform some data transformation, therefore I'm reading journal file record by record using %SYS.Journal.Record API.

I'm having trouble with a vb6 application attempting to connect to a Cache 2017 release. It uses the older Cacheobject.dll instead of ActiveX. The application currently works with a 2010 release of Cache. Is Cacheobject.dll supported in later releases?

I looked through documentation and posts and did not find an answer.

InterSystems has also released IRIS as containerized deployments. This post is to demonstrate how InterSystems IRIS and applications those rely on IRIS a backend can be packaged into an image and be run in other machines in containers and how simple it is to do that.

A container runs image/s which have all the necessary executables, binary code, libraries, and configuration files. And the images can be moved from one machine to another, and an images repository like Docker Hub can simplify that process.

I have used an application from Open Exchange for this demo.

I wrote a function awhile back to take Encoded Base 64 and write the PDF out to a file that could be sent to a faxing system to fax out. We are trying to test this code out in IRIS and I am seeing an error that I have not seen before... ERROR #5034: Invalid status code structure
