Is there a way to exclude specific members from a class when exporting to an XML or UDL file? Bonus question: is there a way to import from that file without overwriting those members that were excluded?

The use case is to export an interoperability production class without the ProductionDefinition XDATA. We plan to source control the production items through the Ensemble Deployment Manager, but we still need to export any custom code in the class definition itself.

If both fields are numeric and the result of subtraction of field1-field2 is positive, only then put the result is a data field.

I am doing this within an Iris DTL.

I don't find any functions like IsNumeric(). Once I get that, I can test if field1>0 and field2>0, do the subtraction, and test if diff>0.

I just need a function to determine if they are numeric, rather than some cumbersome way like a regex where the only characters are 0-9.

I see functions in documentation but don't see them used at tests, only in WRITE statements.

I’m trying to connect to an InterSystems Caché database from my local development environment using an IPv4 address. Most examples I’ve found show how to connect using the ODBC driver with the localhost or the default IP address (127.0.0.1). However, I want to know how to connect using my local IPv4 address.

Iterate over array of namespaces

How do you iterate over the array of namespaces returned in the result byref from the call below?

DO ##class(%SYS.Namespace).ListAll(.result)

Running "zw result" displays the namespaces (as individual subscripts in result) in the Terminal but I want to be able to programmatically iterate through each namespace name.

  • Old Namespace: LABORATORIO
  • New namespace: SRV-LABORATORIO

The rename of all has worked fine. When I've tried to access to the portal, it is no available, displaying the message "Tha namespace SRV-LABORATORIO does not support productions"

So, I've run the following command in terminal

I am just writing something to share what I encountered last night, which is the IRIS 2024.3 does not comes with Python by default any more!!!

Which means that I need to install it by myself!!😅 The pros is, I can select my python version😁🤭💃 The trouble is.... at the first place.... I don't know what I should do😥. Hi ,

I receive xml as incoming request , I convert that into HL7 in my business process class as below

Set tSC = $CLASSMETHOD("myDTL","Transform", .pRequest,.dtlRes)

then , I am sending the dtlRes which is a HL7 message to a router "TEST_ROUTER"

in the router , I am checking for HL7.{MSH:9.2} , where I am getting below error :

Very much keen if we could gather the per namespace and business component utilization of InterSystems cache server.

For e. I have a PRD server where its CPU utilization is at max all the time and I want to know which namespace and its business process (service/Operation/Process) is utilizing what number of CPU and memory.

** I can get the CPU and Memory utilization per Cache.exe and PID, but not able to get the Namespace and ConfiguratioName to which that particular PID belongs.
