Hey,

I have a value in epoch time in which I need convert in order to be able to lookup a table that has dates in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS format

I thought the below would work but it is not.

select COUNT ('Arrival Time') FROM dbo.table where 'Arrival Time' < DATEADD(ms, CONVERT(int,LEFT(1603173432000, 20)), '1970-01-01 00:00:00')

Hi

I have two tables: one a local table using cache and the other is via an SQL gateway connection to an MSSQL Server via a 64bit ODBC driver (ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server).

When I try to join them on a date field I don't get any matches, and I know that there are matches, e.g. running both views separately returns resuls for 30/11/2022.

The following statement returns rows for the first table r, but nothing for the table l

SQL proxy to HL7 query/response

Use case: small in-house hospital systems that query patient demographics via SQL. The new PAS being implemented in the near future will only support query/response via HL7. SQL access is available but intended for reporting so up to 24 hours behind.

Probably the easiest option is to set up a database in Ensemble and keep it up to date via standard ADT feed. This is going to have quite a large footprint and has a risk of getting out of sync.

Oracle Transaction

Hi,

I have a question related with EnsLib.SQL.OutboundAdapter adapter.

Is there a way to open an oracle transaction and do either commit or rollback depending on the query result?

Is posible to keep open an oracle transaction to execute a lot of queries on different methods on the same business operation and do a commit when the business process finished?

I need to run a SQL query and use the output to map PV1 7.1. The query is :

SELECT ID
FROM TestTable
WHERE ProviderName = 'TEST,PROVIDER' AND IDType= 'BPI'

When I run this query with the 'TEST PROVIDER' I do pull the ID in question but I can't figure out how to do it from the DTL given that there are various providers sent in PV 1 7 . Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi ,

When I use jdbc driver to query the column info ,the "REMARKS" field always show the same as the "COLUMN_NAME" field.

When I use the sql "select * from INFORMATION_SCHEMA.columns a where a.table_name='some table name ' " to query columns info,there has a "DESCRIPTION" field ,the value is some comment for the current field.

So is there anyway to return the description to the jdbc remarks field? And is there anyway to update the desciption or remarks field? Or is there some other way that I don't know to manage column comment info?

Error on SQL update service

I have a simple SQL service that does a simple select from an SQL database. After the select, I do an update to set the ProcessedFlag to "Y" for yes, so my next pass doesn't select records already processed. The service works fine, except when it's done I get the error below, anybody know what is causing this error?

I execute sql like this: select * from DHC_PatBillDetails where PBD_PBO_ParRef>='2046121'

error message:

but the sql: select * from DHC_PatBillDetails where PBD_PBO_ParRef='2046121' can be executed successfully

why?

NEED NUMBER ROWS IN SQL SELECT

Hi guys,

I'm trying find a way to create a row with the number of each row.

For example:

In the SQL above, i want a way to create a collum with the number of corresponding row, in this case:

In SQl SERVER i can use FOR, RANK or ROM_NUMBER to do this, but, i can't find a way to do the same in cache SQL.

Can someone help me?
