See how cubes are constructed for use in business intelligence, and learn about SQL and MDX query languages. Physical and virtual cubes are used in InterSystems IRIS® Business Intelligence and Adaptive Analytics:
In order to prioritize functional requirements for evolving our SQL developer experience, we have prepared a short survey to better understand how you’re currently using and, in an ideal world, would like most to interact with our SQL platform.
The Certification Team of InterSystems Learning Services is in the process of developing two exams focused on using SQL in InterSystems IRIS and we need input from our InterSystems IRIS SQL community. Your input will be used to evaluate and establish the contents of the exam.
How do I provide my input? We will present you with a list of job tasks, and you will rate them on their importance as well as other factors.
New to machine learning? Watch this video on InterSystems Developers YouTube to understand the basic concepts of machine learning and how it provides value in applications around the world today:
InterSystems IRIS Cloud SQL is a fully managed cloud service that brings the power of InterSystems IRIS relational database capabilities used by thousands of enterprise customers to a broad audience of application developers and data professionals. InterSystems IRIS Cloud IntegratedML is an option to this database-as-a-service that offers easy access to powerful Automated Machine Learning capabilities in a SQL-native form, through a set of simple SQL commands that can easily be embedded in application code to augment them with ML models that run close to the data.
Today, we announce the Developer Access Program for these two offerings. Application developers can now self-register for the service, create deployments and start building composable applications and smart data services, with all provisioning, configuration and administration taken care of by the service.
As part of our continuous efforts to expand and improve the InterSystems IRIS Data Platform, we’ve set up a brief survey around SQL monitoring. Your feedback will help us in designing and developing the right tools for the job and improve the platform’s overall ease-of-use. Please use the link below to access the survey, which should only take around 5 minutes to complete.
In Episode 4 of Data Points, we welcome @Benjamin De Boe to the pod to discuss some of the things you can do to optimize your SQL queries in InterSystems IRIS. We've all heard — either from ourselves or from others — the "this runs too slowly" complaint. I thought Benjamin did a great job walking through many of the things within IRIS you can look at with your queries to see what can be improved.
Last week at the InterSystems Global Summit, we announced our new Foreign Tables capability, which was introduced as an experimental feature with the 2023.1 release earlier this year.
