I know there are several alternatives, but I would like to find the easiest & simpler ones to store data coming in Json format from post requests and also allowing me to do SQL queries.
I want to have a property called favouriteColors. I want to store a few colors, and I want to be able to do queries to get top favorite colors, etc... so not handling the list of colors as just a fixed string or fixed object.

Recently i've been using Restforms2 to create a CRUD API for a project. But it lacks some advanced functionality that we need, so we have created a production with a REST WS which handles those advanced methods. That works great but there's a drawback, it does not have authentication.
I would want to use the same authentication method as Restforms2 which is a basic auth using IRIS users and passwords.
I have a text file that I pick up in a Business Service and need to send it to our vendor via JSON. I assumed (probably wrongly) that I could just create a RESTful Business Operation, plug in the server IP and URL as well as complete some of the other fields on the BO to send the file. As it says in documentation %ZEN.Auxiliary.jsonProvider been deprecated. We been using it's functions like %ConvertJSONToObject, WriteJSONFromObject etc. Is there any replacement?
I'm trying to figure out why I'm unable to iterate through a dynamic array and access the nested objects.
Using the NHS PDS FHIR API in the NHS sandbox environment, I'm querying the PDS endpoint using a sample NHS Number to retrieve a patient's demographics. My Business Operation reads the response data and passes it back to my Business Process where I intend on iterating through certain nested objects. The data present in these nested objects will decide what happens next in the process.
I need to convert a JSON payload to a custom object type. Currently, I'm converting the JSON object to a %Library.DynamicObject object and need to proceed from here.

I'm working on a REST service which will include a binary stream as a request property. I'm currently encoding the stream as BASE64 and passing it as a string value, but I was wondering if there is anything in the Caché JSON support that may be a better fit for encoding this data? Thanks Chris
I have a Problem with the Session Handling in .csp.
I wrote all my Web Services in .csp-Pages and do the work for example in the OnPreHttp Method for to get some data.
After that the Web Service response is in JSON.
I call These Web Services via fetch in my react Single Page application, also Many request parallel. The react App is Rolled out as index.html. Everything Works Fine with the session Handling via Cookie.
I'm fairly new to ObjectScript/Ensemble and I'm sure I may be fundamentally misunderstanding how the %JSONImport/%JSONExport and XDATA mapping work and I was hoping you good folks could help me out. I'm essentially trying to create an object that I can use to translate from one JSON schema to another.
I have an incoming JSON message with a string field exceeding in length the 'caché long-string limit' of 3641144 characters.
Using {}.%FromJSON(instream) I am able to create %DynamicObject properly. However, I am unable to access the long property, as in every assignment, I get the <MAXSTRING> error.
Is there any way for me to obtain contents of the 'too long' string field as a stream?

Is there any way that I can check the native type of an object script variable? (similar to the typeof check in javascript)
I see that the DynamicArray class uses the type of the variable for its output, I would like to do something similar when I receive a value as an argument to my method.
We are working with a vendor who only accepts JSON as payload. We are currently still on Cache/HealthShare, not IRIS. Since we have to send Continuity of Care Documents, this raises issues with Long Strings (some CCDs can be quite large and in addition to that, they have to be b64-encoded which increases their size even more).
My question is: if we were to go on IRIS and use %JSON.Adapter, storing the encoded Stream in an object's Stream property, would calling %JSONExport() on this object produce the desired JSON? Or would we have to call %JSONExportToStream()?
