Using Cache 2017.2 sever as my target.

I have a x64 Ubuntu client setup going. This is NOT server. Just client.

I have the Linux Ubuntu x64 ODBC driver gzip file.

ODBC-2018.1.5.659.0-lnxubuntux64.tar.gz is all I could find. Someone posted it in another post.

I can connect to a test sever that does NOT use SSL. That works pretty easily.

But I have A server with SSL enabled. With Windows Cache ODBC drivers I can use SSL just fine.

This is what my SSLDefs.ini file on the Windows machines look like and it works just fine.

I have a source code of a dashboard in udl format and I need to somehow import it in my project.

%Compiler.UDL.TextServices works only with classes and ##class(%Routine).%New("dashboard.dfi") doesn't work as well.

Set dynaform property layout="horizontal" makes form controls to be shown horizontal in one row.

But how configure dynaform to show controls in several horizontal rows?

As I was going though and trying to figure out why our CACHE.dat has increased in size over the past 18 days, I found that EnsLib_HL7.Message is still retaining messages dating back to 2014 even though we have our purge set to 10 days. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have created a view to stage some data in a different format and then want to reference that view in a SQL query from a table that filters the data from the view using a property of the table.

Example:

MsgId,
FileName,
(select
ReportName
from
custom_view
where
MsgId = ReportId
) as ReportName
from
main_table

Is this even possible? When I try this, I get an error table not found for the view?

I have an XSL question and I wanted to see if someone within a community can help me out.

To Summarize: I am working with XSL documents, single and multi-pages.
Inside my style sheet XML document, which is supporting my pages, everything on the page, including a headers, footers and the items are calculated
based on the portrait measurements.
Pages come up on the screen as portrait, but sometimes, depending on dynamic data are wide, they do not print properly in portrait.

I try to open an existing log file and append to it. In Windows I use Open file:(NRW):1. I would expect it to append to the file, but each time I execute the code I get only the new entries, the prior file content is lost.

What is the proper syntax top open a file in "Append" mode?

I will deploy this code in Linux. Is there a different syntax to open a file in Linux versus Windows?

I have a need to restrict ODBC access to certain users to prevent unwanted access to our cache database.

We have a limited number of legacy applications that use ODBC to connect to read data and are currently not in a position to have these amended any time soon so in the interim, I am hoping someone will be able to provide me with some assistance.

Any suggestions on where to start?

Maybe I haven't seen anything about it in the documentation, but why isn't there a way to list all the Resources from the %SYS namespace from a class rather than through ^SECURITY

Thinking maybe something like this:
##Class(Security.Resources).ListAll(.result)
