Hi, I've organized my repository using TortoiseSVN. I was careful to use only svn commands while creating my file structure. Now all Subversion commands are working at the command line but not from within my IDE (Cache Studio). Basically I'm trying to write a plug-in for my IDE to use Subversion from within the Studio. Trying to integrate Subversion into my IDE, something like Subclipse, but for Cache Studio. The error occurred after reorganizing my code into directories. For example at the command-line, svn info and svn status and all other commands work perfectly. All Subversion commands work at the command prompt!
I need to perform additional checks before Cache user logins (let's say in a terminal for simplicity) and allow access only to those, who passed them. How do I do it?
I am writing a static SOAP response to simply test connectivity. The end users is getting an error "Message: The processing instruction target matching [xX][mM][lL] is not allowed.", which I believe is related to white space. if I observe the response, it looks like there are two blank lines between the header and the body, which I'm guessing is the white space problem. But I can't seem to get rid of it.
Last weekend we held the Final of InterSystems Contest on Caché, DeepSee and iKnow under the aegis of IT Planet Student Championship in Ekaterinburg. BTW, this year we had more than 1,400 participants in InterSystems Contest.
I am using OAuth2 Cache framework, acting as a client to an authorization server. My setup is based on this excellent previous post [Caché Open Authorization Framework (OAuth 2.0) implementation – part 1].
I'm facing ‘Authorization Server Error: Error Processing Response - No match between server name 'googleapis.com' and SSL certificate values google.com…’
It looks like I should set SSLCheckServerIdentity to false but I can’t figure out how. Has anyone had the same issue?
How can I prevent large number truncation when using the DynamicObject and DynamicArray classes to create JSON in objectscript and then parsing the result in javascript. Are there any global settings that configure the output when using these classes?
I am looking at converting to the new DynamicObject and DynamicArray classes to build JSON. Our current (homegrown) JSON library forces string representation of numbers too long because of errors we were seeing with long numbers being truncated on the client, I am hoping to accomplish the same with the new classes.
Recently I came across a very strong statement to the effect that InterSystems.Data.CacheClient.dll library works fast because it does not open a TCP/IP connection, instead it works in the same process as a database. It made me pause for quite some time. Firstly because .Net Managed Provider, which utilises this library, opens TCP/IP connection to the database (and it is stated in the documentation "Using .NET and the ADO.NET Managed Provider with Caché"). And secondly, because as far as I know only eXtreme applications attach themselves to the process.
I have a requirement to replace $ZF("%ZSET_DIR","/hold/rsm") to its equivalent Cache Class. The $ZF("%ZSET_DIR") sets the Current folder equivalent to "cd" command in Unix.
So just this morning we started to get this error from all of our SQL-client based tools that connect to our Caché SQL via ODBC:
[%msg: <Error instantiating cached query class in Prepare(): <METHOD DOES NOT EXIST>Prepare+41^%SYS.SQLSRV *%New,%sqlcq>] (State:S1000, Native Code: 190)]
I am hoping some of you network guys have ideas. InterSystems seems to be at a standstill. When I startup Studio and try to start Terminal I get License Limit Exceeded. Starting with Terminal and going to Studio, same thing. It started when I put down a 2016 version of Cache on top of a 2015. InterSystems told me to uninstall everything and start fresh. I did that but have the same problems. What can I look at? How do I start to debug this? Although I am the only one on my PC it is really impacting my performance.
How to get XML subtree from XPATH.DOMResult object as Stream or CacheString.
Here is my classmethod. My system receives XML message which has nested structures. The requirement is to send one message at a time to the destination. I have created the XPATH document and used EvaluateExpression method and which returns XML.XPATH.Result of type DOM. I am able to read the dom and get value of the element and its text. But I am looking to send back the subtree.
I have been working on a csp page and trying to export it to excel using the standard activex object. I would like to know if it is possible to export the table on the page with formatting to excel? Thank you in advance for any insight.
We are creating a package (written in Caché Object Script) that will provide access to an external DB (MySQL). Because applications that use our package will be run from machines with various, potentially unexpected, operating systems, we’d like to establish a connection to the external DB without using DSNs (we’ve heard that setting up DSNs on certain non-Windows machines can be cumbersome and problematic).
Has anyone come up with a way to create a separate thread of processing that can achieve shared access to a set of objects created from the initials process? The situation is this. There is a large complex set of objects representing a business process. Some of these objects are in-memory only. The desire is to spin off a separate thread that could do some ancillary processing on this data set without slowing down the main process. Any thoughts?
I'm interested in different approaches on how to store user data in Caché. I'm assuming that application uses Caché security/Caché users and not a self-made authentication system.
