My team works on an IRIS interoperability solution which is running on Red Hat OpenShift container platform. I want to test how many messages can be processed by the running webgateway pods and compute pods with data being stored in the mirrored data pods.

A very common problem of our users is to use an external database as data source in an IRIS production. As many of you already know, we have two ways to connect directly to an external database, the first one is using an ODBC connection, the second is using JDBC.

In our example we are going to create a connection using JDBC, and we are going to build a simple Docker's project, in this way you will be able to modify the example as you wish.

As part of a medical application developed for more than 20 years, we have a large number of parameters. Although we have procedures for documenting these settings, it can be helpful to have a quick view of which settings are actually used by the application code.

The part II you will learn how to run any Jasper report file (jrxml file) designed on Jasper Studio from InterSystems IRIS. We will create a REST API to return a processed report on PDF format.

1. First of all, rename the report from Blank_A4.jrxml to sample.jrxml (Project Explorer tab > click right the file > Rename):

The 2023.1.3 extended maintenance releases of InterSystems IRIS, InterSystems IRIS for Health, and HealthShare Health Connect is now available. It provides bug fixes for any of the previous 2023.1.x releases.
