We would like to know how to get the Row Count of the SELECT query. We query external database via ODBC connection.

//tSQL- is a select query.

Set tStatus = ..Adapter.ExecuteQuery(.tResult,tSQL)

We are trying to get the row count of the retrieved records as below; but It doesn't return any value.

tResult.%ROWCOUNT

$$$TRACE("Result set returned with "_tResult.%ROWCOUNT_" row(s).")

In show Query messages in the message viewer the head.%Id is always used. How do you do this via your own sql/objectscript as fast as the portal does a search as using dates searching Ens.MessageHeader on portal is slow.

For instance if you try do a search saying (TimeProcessed >='2023-06-01 00:00:00.000' and TimeProcessed <'2023-06-02 00:00:00.000') it is slow but using the portal the search would know this is head.%ID >= 5344549861 AND head.%ID <= 5347641372. How do you utilize this in your own queries as can't see the logic in EnsPortal.MsgFilter.Assistant

Hello,

I want to add a couple of properties to a custom Transform class to give the user the ability to edit its properties directly in the Business Process visual editor. It can be easily done with other Production components, but I can't find in the documentation how to do the same with my Transform. Is it possible?

And another question is about how to use the 'aux' parameter of the DataTransform.Transform method if my component is non-visual?

Hi All,

When resending HL7 messages out, the receiving system rejects the message indicating the "Message Control ID already exists" (see error below). Iris retries resending the same message until the receiving system crashes and the BO disconnects in Iris. I would like to suspend the message when Iris receives that error and move on to the next message. Is this possible? Can it be handled by the BO Reply Code Actions settings? What reply code actions should I use?

I am making a POST request to an API. In the case of an error, I don't know what parameters the response JSON will contain (they will change depending on the error). I am converting the response stream to an object but then I need a way to loop through all the properties and access their values. The following code is making the POST request, reading the response, and trying to add all the error messages to an array. But I can't iterate over the properties of the tProxy.errors object because it is a %ZEN.proxyObject. Is there a better way to do this?

I have a BPL that checks if at least one of the incoming OBX 5 values exists in TestTable. If the value exists it gets passed to Operation A and if it doesn't exist it gets passed to Operation B. The lookup table has keys that range between 10 to 70 characters. However, the incoming message sometimes has OBX 5 values that are greater than 510 characters which causes the BPL to terminate and the message does not get sent to any operation.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone already dealt with this issue:
"System has been suspended for over X seconds, exceeding the maximum duration specified. Allowing system activity to resume. Any ongoing backup has presumably failed. Next InterSystems IRIS backup must be a full one"

our backup system "Commvault" is automatic, how do you tell it once you get this message that the next backup should be full?

thanks,

Eyal

Is it planned that LOAD DATA takes into account several DATE/DATETIME formats with, for example, a parameter indicating the format used in the source data?

example :

LOAD DATA .../...
USING
{
  "from": {
    "file": {
       "dateformat": "DD/MM/YYYY"
    }
  }
}

Hello,

In response to the infrastructure needs of our company's service, I've created a small API that sends SNMP queries to InterSystems to visualize relevant data for retrieval when the infrastructure implements monitoring.

However, I'm experiencing a timeout issue when attempting to collect information using an SNMP walk. Here is the code for my API's SNMP service:

Is there a way to compare the content of two variables/ lists and if they share a common element/ value return 1?

Example the two below both have "Yellow":

Set y = "Red, Green, Orange, Yellow"

Set x = "Purple, Black, Yellow, Pink"

The lists I am working with have over 30 elements/values that vary so it is difficult to hard code it to say look for "Yellow".

Hi everyone,

I'm attempting to compile a basic Python code on a remote server, but it appears that the compiler doesn't recognize the language.

The remote server is running a virtual machine with Oracle Linux Server 7.9 (64-bit), and it has IRIS for UNIX (Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86-64) 2021.1 (Build 215U) [HealthConnect:3.3.0] installed.

When I try to compile a script that includes a Python ClassMethod, such as this "testpy.cls":

Hi,
How can I get an instance of stream which is a successor of %Stream.Object in a method that handles a REST POST request?

#dim request as %CSP.Request = %request
 set content = request.Content

This returns a variable of type %CSP.Stream which is totally useless, because %CSP.Stream does not inherit from %Stream.Object
