Hi Team,

While converting FHIR JSON to SDA the file is being converted but, some of the data gets removed during conversion. Please help me out if you know the reason behind this.

I have been struggling trying to understand "Response From" and "Response Target Config Names" as I am trying to track down Orphaned messages.  I have noticed that when a Business Rule, or Business Process sends to a File Based Operation, there is always a NULL value response being returned. I am thinking these NULL values are causing some of the orphaned message problems we are seeing.

If the Business Operation is a File based operation, how do I prevent the NULL value from being sent back? Is this because our "Response From" and "Response Target Config Names" is blank?

I am working on the new USCDI Requirement to store LOINC Codes/Descriptions for various types of Clinical Notes in the SDA.

According to all of the documentation I had been able to find, in order to store a coded value for Document Type, I have to use Custom Pairs:

I am still trying to track down orphaned messages and have noticed that when we have Business Rules that send to a Business Process that some times there is an orphaned message that is generated as result of that send. 

• So my question is, is there an issue with the way that we have setup our Business Processes as they are setup with a request class of Ens.Request, and a response class of Ens.Response when the message is truly an HL7 message?

• Shouldn't the request class and response class be EnsLib.HL7.Message?

I searched a way to transform a HL7 Message to Persistent. I found a way how to create Data Transformation from Mangment Portal -> Data Transformation Interface. But my task is to create somthing similar to that tool in my web site interface. And the question is: Is There way to create something like new instance of Data Transformation class " Ens.DataTransformDTL" using object script?

I was wondering how people manage viewing messages that use a character encoding incompatible with the Management Portals use of UTF-8.

For example, a message that looks like this in Windows-1252/Latin1:

Will display as this under the message "Full Contents"

and this under the "Raw Contents"

I'd like to add/remove items to/from a custom HL7 searchtable (which extends EnsLib.HL7.SearchTable).

Adding new items worked fine by:

• -add new item to class definition
• compile class in all namespaces
• reindexing messages with the BuildIndex() method

Question 1:

How can I remove items from the searchtable properly? Doing the same as above (removing them from the class, recompiling, reindexing) seemed to work, but the removed items still appear in the message viewer's search criteria list. So I think there must be an additional step to the procedure. What am I missing?

I'm trying to create a general business rule, not an HL7 message router. (This is because i want to return values from the rules and message routing rules don't appear to be able to return values.) But, I want the business rules to be able to look at HL7 messages; I've copied a simple when condition from an HL7 message router but the error log throws up <PROPERTY DOES NOT EXIST> ...... *HL7

I'm guessing that because it's a general business rule the 'HL7.' syntatic shortcuts aren't available.

I have a SFTP service that pulling 2.5.1 DFT HL7 messages from our SFTP file server. The issue is that IRIS is transforming patients names and addresses that contain special chars UTF-8 to ANSI.

I am currently working with a "Stem Cell" supplier who do not have any/much Interface capability to push "Bone Marrow" harvest information. But willing to develop an HL7 feed/ WSDL capability.

It will be ideal, if I can get this via HL7 as much as possible and wondering if anyone has used HL7 to transmit bone marrow CD34, CD3 makers, product location and Harvest information? if so can you please advise which HL7 messages are ideal and some sample messages if possible please?

Fortunately they include a warning code in MSA:6.4 and ERR:4

Does HealthShare have inbuilt functionality to transform Application ACK's, or do we need to build a custom BPL or class to handle this?

Are the HL7 UK specific ZU segment structures available for Healthshare?

I can obviously do them by hand, but it would save time if the structures were available in HealthShare as a starting point for interfraces that use them (our PAS 'ICS' uses ZU1,2 & 4)

I'm required to do a transformation around patient physical addresses.  If (for whatever reason) a patient has multiple addresses, I want to move the home address to the first iteration of PID:11 and remove all other iterations.  I've accomplished the first bit using DTL, but for patients who have multiple addresses they are left with empty trailing iterations.  Here is an example I mocked up:

How can I remove those trailing iterations?

DTL giving output as json equivalent xml.

Now how to convert DTL result xml object to json?

We have a couple of systems that send us a URL link to a PDF instead of base 64 encoding it in the HL7 message. Has anyone ever tired to take that URL, and retrieve the file off of the server to save it off somewhere?

I need some help with unescaping a value in TXA 2 of an MDM message that I am writing to a variable, to be used in a filename for a PF. Would I use the method Unescape(pData) if so how can I use it in a transform to set the variable? The reason I need to do this is I need to use the name as file name when writing the PDF to a directory. The escape characters and invalid for file names .

DTL Transformations and GetValueAt/SetValueAt calls on HL7 messages will truncate any fields longer than 32K.  To avoid this, the methods GetFieldStreamRaw and StoreFieldStreamRaw must be used when dealing with fields that might be larger than 32K.  OBX:5 is a frequent example.  These methods have some subtleties and must be used carefully.

This can't be done by simply dragging from left to right in a DTL.  It must be done with a code action.  Also, the StoreFieldStreamRaw call must be the last edit made to the segment because the segment becomes immutable after that.

We are seeing ERROR #5002: Cache error: <MAXSTRING>zSaveData+14 ^EnsLib.HL7.Segment.1 come up on a Routing rule when we are trying to Encoded PDF's through a DTL. In the DTL we are copying source to target. Is there a limitation on trying to copy source to target? 

At the bottom of the DTL you are see that we commented out converting the Encoded PDF to a Stream, is it recommended that we always use %Stream anytime we are dealing with PDF's?

Hi all, 
Just wondering if there's a quick way to get the DocType, without knowing it in advance, from a message body by building a string from the VersionID, MessageType, and TriggerEvent fields? (Similar to how it might be done dynamically in Rhapsody)
Can this then be used to set the DocType for a source message?
If this is not the best practice what is a suitable alternative approach?
