Hello, how are you?
First of all thanks for your time reading this question.
We are investigating how to validate the indexes of a global. We have read:
https://docs.intersystems.com/irisforhealth20251/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI…
And:
https://docs.intersystems.com/irisforhealth20251/csp/documatic/%25CSP.D…
We want to validate the inxedes of the global titled "Ens.Util.LogD". We have executed on the ObjectScript terminal, on the desired namespace:
ESBSSCC>set tSC = $SYSTEM.OBJ.
You can check the free disk space at any time using the system utility class: SYS.Database and query: FreeSpace.
Here's how to try it in the IRIS terminal (go to the %SYS namespace and then run it):
zn "%SYS"
set stmt=##class(%SQL.Statement).%New()
set st=stmt.%PrepareClassQuery("SYS.Database","FreeSpace")
set rset=stmt.%Execute()
do rset.%Display()The output result example is as follows:
*In the command execution example, all databases are located on the same disk, so the free disk space (DiskFreeSpace) returns the same value.

Are you curious about how to run Python scripts directly in your InterSystems IRIS or Caché terminal? 🤔 Good news it's easy! 😆 IRIS supports Embedded Python, allowing you to use Python interactively within its terminal environment.
How to access the Python Shell?
To launch the Python shell from the IRIS terminal, simply run the following command:
do ##class(%SYS.Python).Shell()This opens an interactive Python shell inside the IRIS terminal. From here, you can write and run Python code just as you would in a normal Python environment.
Good morning everyone,
In the facility we're working in, we have two separate installations for testing and production. In the test environment, we have production processes running properly, and we need to replicate production processes and settings in the production environment. Until now, when we move from a test environment to a production environment, we currently export the test classes, import them into production, and manually configure the production environment by connecting Services, Processes, and Operations and configuring the settings.

Hi,
We have just upgraded the Trusts test Health Connect instance from 2021.1 to 2025.1 and now the the Rules and DTL editors, in the Management Portal, timeout after 10 - 20 minutes of inactivity.
In 2021.1 we were able to disable this timeout using: set ^EnsPortal("DisableInactivityTimeout","Portal") = 1, however this no longer works with 2025.1, and is being ignored.
It may be being ignoring this global setting because the editors are no longer using the default Web Application for the Namespaces, and are using the: /ui/interop/rule-editor and /ui/interop/dtl-editor Web Applications.
Hello InterSystems Community,
I'm working with HealthShare, and need to create a user account for our development environment with specific access requirements.
Join us on Thursday to see the new features of Deltanji source control, version 8.1.
We'll be demoing our new Git Location Driver along with other functionality and usability improvements.
The Git Location Driver enables Deltanji to integrate directly with Git repositories, makes Deltanji the perfect source control companion to those who use Git-based repos by providing tighter integration with InterSystems IRIS.
Date: Thursday, July 17th
Time: 11 - 12pm EDT | 4 - 5pm BST | 5 - 6pm CET
Location: Online (register for details)

Good morning,
We need your help:
We wonder if there is a way to filter EnsLib.DICOM.Document, by using its DataSet properties on the Message Viewer.
For example, we would like to find the following DICOM.Document which DataSet.AccessionNumber is SR115985013100.png)
By using the Message Viewer Filter we have tried the following:
| FixedDataSet.AccessionNumber | = | SR115985013100 |
.png)
Because when we look fod a Body Property of the EnsLib.DICOM.Document it shows this drop down menu:

However, it replies with an error:
ERROR #5540: SQLCODE: Message -29: Field 'ENSLIB_DICOM.DOCUMENT.
I am making a FHIR request against Epic, in when I get the Response back using "fromDao" I am extracting the stream into HS.FHIRModel.R4.Patient. However, the patient's name comes back as name within a list that references HS.FHIRModel.R4.SeqOfHumanName.
So I have been working in Healthcare Interops for about a month now and in IRIS. I am looking to implement SMART on FHIR and I am currently working to make an endpoint that works as the discovery endpoint. It is a custom dispatch class and unauthenticated is selected for access. I am trying to make a simple get request from Postman to test that the proper JSON is sent, but I receive a 403 Forbidden error. It is reaching IRIS it seems so I know its not a reverse proxy error. Here is an example of my custom Dispatch Class.
Any plans for ODBC 3.8 support?
Hi Community,

I am receiving a FHIR response bundle back with a resource of patient. Using fromDao, I attempted to take the stream and put it into FHIRModel.R4.Patient but it is not mapping correctly. When I attempt to take FHIRModel.R4.Patient and write it out using toString(), all I am seeing is the resource
{"resourceType":"Patient"}
so the response is not mapping correctly to FHIRModel.R4.Patient. How have others handled this? Do I need to translate it to an SDA since it does fit the model format?

Hi Community
I'm working on a complex piece of rules that needs to check each OBX and evaluate if 3 of the fields match certain criteria. I've tried to achieve this using a Foreach loop, which does work, however it is not as clean as I wanted it. I was hoping I could assign temp variables inside the foreach loop to make the rules more easier to read, for example @testCode @resultText. This is not support as you can only assign inside a when condition. Before I raise this as an idea, i wondered if there was an alternative way to achieve the same thing?

I seem to remember making this work before, but I'm not having any luck digging up examples.
I've defined some custom properties for a business operation that could definitely benefit from having popup descriptions available in the Production Configuration. I have triple-slash comments before each property that do just that in the source. I thought those provided the text for the popup descriptions when clicking on the property name, but apparently not.
Any thoughts?
The below code is not working. its unable retrieve Record count and merge files
Class Util
{
ClassMethod zPyRecordCount(inputfile) As %Integer [ Language = python ]
{
import pandas as pd
import iris
import io
try:
df = pd.read_csv(inputfile, sep='|')
recordcount=len(df.index)
sys.stdout.write(len(df.index))
return recordcount
except Exception as e:
return 0
}
ClassMethod zPymergefiles(file1, file2, outputfilename) As %Boolean [ Language = python ]
{
import pandas as pd
import iris
import io
try:
dataframe1=pd.
Hi noble devs!
Just building a simple frontend->JSON->IRIS backend story, and figured that IRIS while importing via %JSON.Adaptor wants JSON fields to match property names, meaning even should match the case. Like:
{ name: "John",
surname: "Doe"}will have issues while saving the dynamic object to a class Sample.Person with:
Class Sample.Person Extends (%Persistent, %JSON.Adaptor)
{
Property Name: %Sting;
Property Surname: %String;
}As soon as the case is not the same...
Is there a link we can use to invite other devs to ( so we can get credit for brining them in?)
All,
At READY 2025 we will have a CCR User Group Breakfast for HealthShare and TrakCare customers on Wednesday at 7:30am (presentation starts at 7:45am). Topics will include:
We will meet in the Jackson meeting room. Visit the Meeting Counter to have it added to your schedule or comment below to request an invite.
We will also be attempting to livestream the event for those not at READY who would like to listen in.
Hello, good morning, thank you so much for reading this question. ☺️🙂👍
We are developing a code to get information about our Production's items: services, processes and operations.
We know we can get various configurations of a given item: Category, Port, Enabled...
But we wonder how we could get the date time of the last mesage (most recent) received in an item.
To give a code snippet a small section of the code we have developed (and tested), it looks like:
[...]
For i=1:1:tProduction.Items.Count() {
#dim item as Ens.Config.Item
set item = tProduction.Mirror Member
Hi ISC Experts,
I'm in the process of setting up InterSystems IRIS for HealthShare with database mirroring, and I’d appreciate some guidance around how to handle an existing ODBC connection in this new setup.
