How can we create a random token within HealthConnect?  any examples?

Hi All! For those of you who are users of our cloud services, you may have been introduced to Health Connect Cloud. One topic within that cloud service that can be a little tricky is understanding how GitLab and the source control workflow fit seamlessly into your integration workflow in Health Connect Cloud. I recently presented a lightboard video explaining how this works, including the slightly different workflows for building interfaces via code versus building via the Management Portal UI. I recently started work on trying to Tighten Security in our Development Instance of IRIS that is running based on recommendations from our Audit as you might of seen from my other posts. I am currently trying to get into the Private Web Gateway Manager within IRIS as CSPSystem, but when I attempt to sign in nothing happens. 

I went through and reset the password in the CSP.ini and within IRIS for CSPSystem. I made sure it had the new GatewayRole per suggested

I am trying to lock down security within our Development environment per requirements from a Security Audit that was done earlier this year. I need to try to limit access at a public level, access to cache users, and exposure.

I installed IRIS with the Lockdown method, and have configured my web applications, services, resources, etc.

When I go into my namespace, I am constantly presented with the following error when I try to start or stop an Object...

Cannot login as IRIS manager.

We currently have a couple of Shell scripts we have written to EnableConfigItem from a Unix (Red Hat) command line, so we can control when a Service/Operation is running via the cron in Unix. We do this by calling

:>iris session xxxxx

using _system user.

During our Security audit it was mentioned that we need to lock down some of the cache users. 

• So, has others written scripts to make IRIS calls via command line?
  • If so, what is the consensus of using a Cache user vs using say a LDAP service account?

• Or what have you used in the past to ensure that the password is not hardcoded anywhere?

Hi All! If you have looked into Health Connect Cloud at all, you may know that the cloud-native environment presents a few differences from traditional deployments of InterSystems integrations. If you've taken a classroom course at InterSystems, you may have used "in" and "out" folders in productions to simulate receiving and outputting HL7 messages.

Configuring Secure File Transfer in Health Connect Cloud shows how this is achieved in a cloud environment where you can't simply create an "in" and "out" folder on your local server. Let me know if you have any questions!

My original ZAUTHENTICATE.mac to use Delegated sign on did not include GetCredentials(), however I am being told it probably should have it so I am eliminate an error I am seeing when trying to troubleshoot the ZAUTHENTICATION. I am trying to add the GetCredentials() from the documentation to the existing ZAUTHENTICATE.mac  but I am getting an error

GetCredentials(ServiceName,Namespace,Username,Password,Credentials) Public {

InterSystems has corrected two defects regarding connectivity. These defects and their corrections are independent of each other.

This alert addresses them both because there are point releases containing both corrections.

Earlier today I enrolled at Cloud Services Portal and clicked "Start trial" for the "Health Connect Cloud" service. Next step was "Create Deployment". The only deployment size offered was "Micro", so I picked that, completed the other required details and clicked "Create".

Response was:

I reported this using the "Submit Feedback" option on the dropdown from my username in the top right of Cloud Services Portal but haven't yet received a response. Hence this DC post, in case someone here can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Still working on my first External REST API call, and I am struggling to find the exact answer I am looking for... I get a JSON response from my API call but I am not quite sure how to dynamically get the JSON response into the Ens.Response Object with its lists of Arrays that I have defined.

I'm just wondering if anyone might have a list (or the experience to make a list) of the most often used / useful Reply Code Actions?

In the Help section of Health Connect Management Portal, it lists 

'E=F' and ':?R=RF,:?E=S,:~=S,:?A=C,:*=S,:I?=W,:T?=C'

as the default options, though I'm curious if anyone else has found other codes or strings of codes useful?

Currently we are using Delegated Authentication using ZAUTHENTICATE to look at the groups that are associated with a user and if it matches a role within IRIS, to assign the user to that role within IRIS. 

Instead of using ZAUTHENTICATE as custom code, I am looking to use the built-in LDAP Authentication instead. Since I already have two AD Groups called (Access.Ensemble.Developer.User and Access.Ensemble.DataLookup.User) is it possible to config the built in LDAP functionality to look for these groups and assign the users to the correct roles within IRIS without the custom ZAUTHENTICATE?

We are noticing some issues with the communication between our Arbiter and our servers. Looking at the following documentation to limit connections, and logging...https://docs.intersystems.com/irislatest/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI.Page.cls?KEY=GHA_mirror_set_config#GHA_mirror_set_agent_port

if I am configuring the ISCAgent on the arbiter, would we set 

application_server.interface_address=<ip_address>

to each IRIS server? Or does this mean to give it a specific NIC IP Address to use for communication?

Is there a way problematically to see what Operations/Services are attached to a EnsLib.JavaGateway.Service and if there are issues with the EnsLib.JavaGateway.Service to stop/start those Services/Operations that might be attached to it?

I'm currently trying to setup a SFTP Ensemble production to handle all of my SFTP transactions. It's been going well, but I'm currently running into an issue where it is saying it is unable to exchange encryption keys. Error Below:

I have a EnsLib.HL7.Operation.FTPOperation that uses SFTP protocol and public/private key to connect to an external vendor moveitcloud.

Issue: The vendor is planning to enable Multi Factor Authentication for this file transfer account.

Question: Have you configured a SFTP operation to use Multi factor Authentication? If not, is there another way?

I am working on my first REST operation to send a API Request to an internal server within our Network. I have finally got past the point of being able to connect using a SSL/TLS Configuration, but I am getting a ERROR <Ens>ErrHTTPStatus: Received non-OK status 403 from remote HTTP server: 'HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden'.

I have tried using $$$TRACE within my operation to capture the different elements that are being sent to verify the Server, URL, SSL Configuration, and payload.

If I remember it correctly there is a functionality in IRIS to make this possible.

I've got two incoming Business Services of files from different sources.

BS1: An Ens.StreamContainer with some info and metadata which point to a specific file. Ens.StreamContainer will be send to a BP.

BS2: The files where the metadata points to. It's in the Ens.StreamContainer

But dependent on the flow the file could be later available on BS2. So I want the BPL to wait for the file to arrive at BS2. 

Then in the BPL I want to do some merging stuff with the 2 Ens.

We're doing our first babysteps with embedded Python and IRIS with an interoperability solution. We want to convert a CSV file to an Excel xlt file.

As service we've got a EnsLib.File.PassthroughService which picks up a csv file

As operation we've got a EnsLib.File.PassthroughOperation which writes the Excel file.

In the middle:

We've created an Business Process with an %Stream.GlobalCharacter in the Request and a %Stream.GlobalCharacter  in the Response.

But how do we get the %Stream.GlobalCharacter in the Python ClassMethod?

Recently I started moving some of our JDBC Gateway configurations over to using the Microsoft JDBC Gateway driver instead of using the jTDS open source driver. I have noticed since then that those Objects that are using Microsoft JDBC Driver are throwing a lot more errors than the jTDS driver ever did, which I can understand however I am puzzled that I keep running into an issue with the Java Gateway Service within the Interoperability engine.

Every so often I will start seeing "Gateway Server failure timeout on 127.0.0.1:55550" followed by "Gateway Server did not respond to PING request.

InterSystems has corrected two defects.

The first defect can cause an ECP application server to hang. This defect is only relevant to ARM and IBM Power processors; it is present in version 2022.1.2 and 2022.1.3 of InterSystems IRIS®, InterSystems IRIS for Health™, and HealthShare® Health Connect. The correction is identified as DP-423661. The defect is addressed in all future versions. 

The second defect can, in rare circumstances, cause dejournaling to hang. This defect is present in versions 2020.4, 2021.x, 2022.x, and 2023.

We've been asked to develop a HL7 interface, but the end system has very different needs than any we've ever interfaced with before. We need assistance to determine if these needs are things HealthShare can support that we're just not aware of, or whether we'll need to develop some custom code to accomplish this.

This end system wants us to send HL7 messages completely asynchronously, one after the other without waiting for any form of ACK or NAK.

The extended maintenance releases of InterSystems IRIS, InterSystems IRIS for Health, and HealthShare Health Connect 2023.1.1 are now available. This release provides bug fixes for the previous 2023.1.0 releases.

In a transformation (DTL) I create an XML and pass it to an EnsLib.EDI.XML.Operation.FileOperation.

The receiver does not accept an empty tag (eg <Analysis/>) that is created automatically
if the tag has no values ​​in underlying tags. I have tried with action='remove' in transformation
and other things but it only clears the content.

I need to remove the tag completely. Appreciate if anyone has a tip?

Hi all

I need to do hardware maintenance on a physical HealthConnect server which forms one half of a mirrored pair, and  It will require multiple restarts.

So, I will need to prevent any HealthConnect services from restarting until all maintenance is completed. Is this just a case of disabling the service "HealthConnect Controller for <SERVERNAME>", or is there anything else I need to be aware of?
