At the moment we're creating multiple BPLs are using a router (or another BPL) to direct to these based on a unique key modulo the amount of BPLs available, e.g. if we have 3 BPLs created.
Message key = 1 mod 3 + 1 -> BPL02
Message key = 2 mod 3 + 1 -> BPL03
Message key = 3 mod 3 + 1 -> BPL01
FIFO only matters in that each messages for each key is processed in order.
What we were considering doing is increasing the pool size to 3 and programmatically creating a BPL on each thread that processes messages that would be directed to it, rather than having to create multiple BPLs into the production.
Dear Community,
I am trying to convert a base64 encoded string to a pdf. I have tried a lot of possible ways, but never succeeded. I am able to decode the base64 using $System.Encryption.Base64Decode but I am not able to convert it and store this in a path.
Can anybody help me out here?
Thanks.
On Encounter container we want to map some data from Z segments is that possible? Presently the mapping from HL7to SDA3 is taking place from HL7 defines segments . is there a way to push the data from Z segment.
Host Variables are a rather common programming feature in many implementations of SQL.
A recent question in DC made me aware that in IRIS, Caché, Ensemble, ...
host variables just exist within embedded SQL
> You can supply host variables for Embedded SQL queries only. <
Related examples are included in the available Documentation
This is a description for a workaround if you don't / can't use embedded SQL.
Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a listen server in Cache 2016 that can capture data from a specific port. Can someone guide me on how to set this up, including handling incoming connections and reading data from the port? Any advice or example code would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I'm trying to add another segment to an HL7 MDM message. More specifically OBXgrp(1).OBX. The addition itself works,. When I look at the message in the trace, the segment with the content can be seen. However, it is not displayed as an OBX segment.
Build Map Status = 'ERROR <EnsEDI>ErrMapRequired: Missing required OBXgrp(1) element at segment 6'
'ERROR <EnsEDI>ErrMapSegUnrecog: Unrecognized Segment 6:'' found after segment 5 (TXA)'
.png)
// HL7-Nachricht klonen
Set response = msg.%ConstructClone()
// OBX-Segment erstellen
Set tSegmentOBX = ##class(EnsLib.HL7.Segment).I am looking for a link to documentation that shows what responses are available to commands like:
^%GI, ^%GO, ^%RO, ^%RIMF
tried search in docs.intersystems.com "https://docs.intersystems.com/iris20243/csp/docbook/Doc.Results.cls?doc…"
So far had a suggestion just go to the code to figure it out.
Hi All,
I don't know if I am doing something wrong or maybe a setting is off.
But while in Cache Studio, under the Edit menu, when I use "Find in Files . . ." nothing is returned, regardless of what I am trying to find.
Weird.
Hello,
Very much keen if we could gather the per namespace and business component utilization of InterSystems cache server.
For e. I have a PRD server where its CPU utilization is at max all the time and I want to know which namespace and its business process (service/Operation/Process) is utilizing what number of CPU and memory.
** I can get the CPU and Memory utilization per Cache.exe and PID, but not able to get the Namespace and ConfiguratioName to which that particular PID belongs.
Thank you,
Hey, So the title pretty much describes the question:
Where and How can i see the Stream that contains the response back to the client of a CSP application.
When the request is being processed and finished we return a response to the client - We do that by writing the data to a stream and that stream is sent back to the client.
I wanted to know how i can access the point right before that Data is actually written to the client back (meaning the place where the response is actually being send back, the last point of contact).
Hello guys,

Hi experts, please, do you know cause this errors in cconsole?
I'd like know what can I investigate.

I'm working on some code that would benefit from being able to see whether or not a project file has been saved in Studio.
I can see when I make changes, that the project name has an asterisk added to it:.png)
In searching for it, however, I haven't been able to find any methods or calls to access the property/check that controls that asterisk.
My question is whether anyone out there knows if that is accessible and if so then how can it be accessed.
I'd like to add a check in my code that enforces that the project file must be saved prior to proceeding with the intended action.
Hello everyone,
I’m facing issues with replicating data from my Caché 2016 database to a PostgreSQL database. I need to handle around 300 data updates per minute, and whenever certain tables are modified, those changes must be reflected in other databases.
So far, I’ve tried various approaches, including:
However, each of these solutions has led to performance bottlenecks and system lockups.
I inherited some legacy MUMPS / ObjectScript code. A code review identified an exclusive NEW and that is not allowed per our coding standards.
The original code contains:
RUN(CALL,DRVNAME)
S $EC=""
S ^TMP($J,"RMPV","DRVNAME")=DRVNAME
N TMPFILE,OLDIO
S OLDIO=$IO
I $G(^TMP("RMPV","SILENT"),1) S IOP="NULL",%ZIS=0 D ^%ZIS I '$G(POP,1) U IO
D INIT^@DRVNAME
D ; scope variables
.N (DUZ,CALL) ; Protect %response
.S IOF="""""",IOM=80,U="^"
.
Everytime I try to send a POST FHIR bundle I'm getting the following response: 404 Not Found. I'm not really sure why, although it works fine with a GET!
This is an example:

Response:

It might be something related to request path but not really sure.
And this is the HTTP service I'm using

I tried this with Postman and it's working as expected
Am I missing something ?
how i can connect to cache database from visual studio 2017-2022?

We have a service account that is running queries to pull some data. It has read only access to the tables, but, unfortunately, the tool is starting a transaction before it reads the database. The query takes more than 20 minutes (21 - 23 minutes), so we're getting the console message that the transaction is open longer than 20 mins. Is there a way to prevent a user/service account from being able to start a transaction since it only has read access to all of the tables in the database?
A customer is using Caché online backups and needs to automatically purge the cbk files with a scheduled task.
This is a wheel has been reinvented uncountable times already and I know somebody out there has a well written, extremely robust version that has already stood the test of time.
Does anyone have a nice routine/class/task for purging old Caché backup files?
I'm currenlty searching the developers coummnity , but thought I asked this question while I search. How can I use the task schedulrer to purge backups? Do i have to create my own class? Examples on doing this?
Hello,
In short, I am trying to get the Content-Length of my response,
We have a CSP application, when we get a new request we begin to process it, throughout the app we WRITE to the response in different places,
now when the response is about to be sent back to the client - we would like to know its Content-Length (in the RESPONSE HEADERS).
So it comes down to two questions:
1. How can we access the Content-Length of our response?
2. In case we CAN'T - Where in the broker.cls/page/base classes can I observe the moment we actually write the response itself and attach its headers?
Thank you!
I'm attempting to build a fairly complicated object graph, with nested objects and collections, in order to create a FHIR bundle.
In its most basic form there is a <bundle></bundle> element that represents the root, and there can be a number of nested <entry></entry> child elements.
I'm attempting to represent this as such:
class Bundle (%RegisteredObject, %XML.Adaptor)
{
Property Entries As List Of Entry;
}The problem is when this is projected it nests each Entry object within an Entries container, which makes sense but I don't want this.
I have installed three plugins on VS Code: Intersystems Language Server: v2.3.6, Intersystems ObjectScript: v2.10.5, and Intersystems Server Manager: v3.6.2. I connected to the Caché database and connected a workspace to the InterSystems server. Then I edited the code locally on my client machine. However, only modifying the code and adding new code files allow for automatic updates on the server after executing "import without compilation.

Do you want to see this option in VSCode?
Hi Community,
I have a CSP page I am developing with the intent of pulling files from an SFTP site and placing them in a folder on the local network.
I am having an issue where the CSP page is catching a JS error. The error in the browser is - A JavaScript exception was caught during execution of HyperEvent: SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier 'downloading'. (However, the unexpected identifier changes after refreshing page, or after removing the Write statement with the work 'downloading' in it.)
I think I have narrowed it down to a piece of the Javascript code -
Hello Community,
Is there any built in methods available to generate the both HTTP message format(request/response) from %Net.HttpRequest and it's response.
Thanks!
I recently met an ages old issue related to code maintenance:
But you need to take a look on Classes or Routines or Globals !!
Anyhow SQL is your friend.
CREATE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE arcc.txt (line VARCHAR(32000))Not a thrilling action.
CREATE PROCEDURE arcc.show (IN code VARCHAR())
RETURNS INTEGER
LANGUAGE OBJECTSCRIPT
{
set file=As part of the Open Exchange competition Salford Royal (Dean White and Mark O'Reilly) developed a REST API for sharepoint as a template that works but can also be a starting point to your own Rest Applications
This is using the v1 REST sharepoint API you need a tennant id, client id, client secret and tennant name
.png)
The code in the middle is the tennant ID
Create a client config name as whatever you want

Set up the oauth client replacing your server ip with the ip of the server you are on (not the VIP address- if not part of a VIP localhost may work)

Add in client credentials
change over the settings on SharepointRESTConnector like HTTPSERVER,SHAREPOINT-SITENAME- SHAREPOINT FILEPATH- SSL (blank up to 1.
Every time I try to update an SQL table using odbc connection, I'm getting: ERROR <Ens>ErrException: <MAX $ZF STRING>zPrepareW+1^%Library.SQLGatewayConnection.1
$$$TRACE("SQL Statement: "_sqlStatement)
I know that the problem is with the length of the ORU HL7 message (that contains OBX base64 PDF file ) I'm trying to update in the table, but is there a way to fix this? other than truncating the message ?
I also tried this statement but it didn't work as well
Set sql = "UPDATE dbo.
