Atelier is InterSystems’ Eclipse-based development environment. It enables you to rapidly build solutions that leverage the performance, scalability, connectivity, and reliability of InterSystems’ comprehensive data platform.
Most notably, take advantage of enhancements to compiling with InterSystems IRIS. You can find more information about the additions in the release notes here.
Stable Releases of the Atelier plugin are now available from the Eclipse Marketplace. Just search for Atelier on the Eclipse website (https://marketplace.eclipse.org) or - even better - in the Eclipse IDE.
This is an convenient way to install this plugin, because you no longer have to enter the URL.

Over the past few months, our team has been hard at work building a better Atelier experience for you. With three major new features and more than twenty enhancements, Atelier 1.2.118 makes it easier for you to develop important applications. It now also supports InterSystems IRIS Data Platform™, which enables you to rapidly build scalable, interoperable, and analytical data-rich applications.
The update sites listed on the Atelier download page will be temporarily down for some time. We will notify the community here once the servers are brought back up.
As a result, you will not be able to install Atelier 1.1.391 from the beta update site until this work is completed.

The Atelier team is excited to announce the promotion of Atelier 1.3.144 to the beta channel for Windows, Mac and Linux. This new release contains two major enhancements - a new error message for incompatible encoding schemes and an improved parser. Please head to the Release Notes to learn more.
Once again I'm here to talk about the ObjectScript extension for Visual Studio Code, and this time we are excited to announce the release of version 1.0!
The community has come together in an unprecedented way to deliver this product with InterSystems, and its only fitting that a tool so critical to developer productivity would be built with community testing, feedback and source code from the very beginning.
Intersystems is a fascinating yet niche marketed.
We are using it, but we struggle to find good developers to join us to work on Caché or Ensemble products.
