As the title says, I've noticed that files that gets saved to the disk where the database lies (.DAT file) in the stream directory, does not get purged. Is this expected and do we need to create our own schedule task to clean this folder up?

I could only find old answers that say this, however I find it a bit odd if that is the case because they are considered temporary files. Perhaps I do not handle the streams correctly in the code?

I recently had to refresh my knowledge of the HealthShare EMPI module and since I've been tinkering with IRIS's vector storage and search functionalities for a while I just had to add 1 + 1.

For those of you who are not familiar with EMPI functionality here's a little introduction:

In general, all EMPIs work in a very similar way, ingesting information, normalizing it and comparing it with the data already present in their system. Well, in the case of HealthShare's EMPI, this process is known as NICE:

Hi. I am struggling to understand the meaning of different elements of an order in my hospital's EHR.

Page: EPR > All Orders

Question: What is the difference between Start Date and Date Executed and Order End Date? If an order was started on Monday and executeed on Tuesday.. does this mean the patient received the order on Monday or Tuesday? and what is End date?

Also, how do I interpret order status? What is the difference between discontinued, verified, and executed?

Hey everyone.

It seems that my email address being updated with Intersystems has created a new account on here, and when I attempt to login with the old email address it logs into the new account meaning it looks like I have no post history.

Has anyone else faced this and have any advice on how to resolve it or any thoughts on if this is likely to affect other services like Learning and Global Masters?

HTML tag in IRIS

Hi,

After converting from Ensemble 2018 to IRIS 2024 I noticed that HTML tag is not recognized?

I just copied & pasted this same from Ensemble to IRIS and in Ensemble looks fine!?
