Hi,

We are currently switching from Studio to VSCode and central GIT with Serverside Development and have a few start problems.
I have set up a system with Git.

The baseline commit including remote push works.

But now I have a problem with the VSCode. When I create and compile a new class, it saves it correctly. But if I want to make further changes to the class, it saves the class and loads it again with the previous status. So the changes I made are gone again.

Trying to test a router that takes an XML input and performs a transform on it.

First attempt I tried to test the transform using the XML Document Viewer via the Ensemble -> Interoperate -> XML Document Viewer menu. The transform itself is working however I can not get the output to save to a file. I've made sure permissions are set correctly on the file. It simply doesn't output anything and I'm at a loss as to why.

Recently, I replaced my old laptop with a new one and had to migrate all my data. I was looking for a guide but couldn’t find anything that explained in detail how to migrate server connections from InterSystems Studio and Visual Studio Code from one PC to another. Simply reinstalling the tools is not enough, and migrating all the connections manually seemed like a waste of time. In the end, I managed to solve the problem, and this article explains how.

This will be a short article about Python dunder methods, also known as magic methods.

What are Dunder Methods?

Dunder methods are special methods in Python that start and end with double underscores (__). They allow you to define the behavior of your objects for built-in operations, such as addition, subtraction, string representation, and more.

Some common dunder methods include:

I am receiving a FHIR response bundle back with a resource of patient. Using fromDao, I attempted to take the stream and put it into FHIRModel.R4.Patient but it is not mapping correctly. When I attempt to take FHIRModel.R4.Patient and write it out using toString(), all I am seeing is the resource

{"resourceType":"Patient"}

so the response is not mapping correctly to FHIRModel.R4.Patient. How have others handled this? Do I need to translate it to an SDA since it does fit the model format?

WSDL for a CDC vendor was provided with a URL using a custom socket (non 443). Everything generated fine, but when making calls to their https:// URL that has their custom port in the URL - no response comes back. The assumption is, their server isn't even processing the request, as Postman does using the custom https://path.to.server:NNNN port in the URL.

The hypothesis

A button on a web page can capture the users voice. IRIS integration could manipulate the recordings to extract semantic meaning that IRIS vector search can then offer for new types of AI solution opportunity.

Hi Guys,

Given that Analyst property is defined as class object I'm getting the Analyst ID in the below dataBinding, but I'm looking to display the Analyst name, I tried using dataBinding="Analyst->Name" but no luck, I got the same issue when binding to dataCombo or comboBox ?

Introduction

Businesses often use in-memory databases or key-value stores (caching layers) when applications require extremely high performance. However, in-memory databases incur a high total cost of ownership and have hard scalability limits, incurring reliability problems and restart delays when memory limits are exceeded. In-memory key-value stores share these limitations and introduce architectural complexity and network latency as well.

This article explains why InterSystems IRIS™ data platform is a superior alternative to in-memory databases and key-value stores for highperformance SQL and NoSQL applications.

Taking Performance and Efficiency to the Next Level

InterSystems IRIS is the only persistent database that can match or beat the performance of in-memory databases and caching layers for concurrent data ingestion and analytics processing. It can process incoming transactions, persist the data to disk, and index it for analytics in under one microsecond on commercially available hardware without introducing network latency.

The superior ingest performance of InterSystems IRIS results in part from its multi-dimensional data engine, which allows efficient and compact storage in a rich data structure. Using an efficient, multi-dimensional data model with sparse storage techniques instead of two-dimensional tables, random data access and updates are accomplished with very high performance, fewer resources and less disk capacity. It also provides in-memory, in-process APIs in addition to traditional TCP/IP access APIs to optimize ingest performance.

The new version of InterSystems Testing Manager which I released last week brings @Timothy Leavitt's cool
Test Coverage Tool to VS Code, and is my entry for the 2025 Developer Tools contest.

Here's a teaser screenshot showing how the unit tests of the IPM project don't yet cover a feature that apparently allows an IPM repository to override its sort order.

IRIS supports CCDA and FHIR transformations out-of-the-box, yet the ability to access and view those features requires considerable setup time and product knowledge. The IRIS Interop DevTools application was designed to bridge that gap, allowing implementers to immediately jump in and view the built-in transformation capabilities of the product.

In addition to the IRIS XML, XPath, and CCDA Transformation environment, the Interop DevTools package now provides:
