We recently went through an Audit of our Security Policies and Procedures when it comes to IRIS. As a result of that Audit, we need to make adjustments to the way that Security is setup within IRIS. I have already done my changes on our TEST and DEVELOPMENT environments, but now I am trying to plan out how do we make these changes in Production.

These changes include moving away from the PWS, setting up Apache/Web Gateway, moving to LDAP instead of using Delegated Authentication, updating Web Applications, updating Resources, updating Services, etc...

Hi all

I need to do hardware maintenance on a physical HealthConnect server which forms one half of a mirrored pair, and It will require multiple restarts.

So, I will need to prevent any HealthConnect services from restarting until all maintenance is completed. Is this just a case of disabling the service "HealthConnect Controller for <SERVERNAME>", or is there anything else I need to be aware of?

Andy

Presenter: Ray Wright
Task: Validate your performance and scalability claims, detect and correct bottlenecks, or determine the hardware needed to optimally run your applications
Approach: Discuss and demonstrate the use of our WebStress feature to design and run benchmark tests of your HTTP-based applications.

Conducting benchmark tests of your applications can help you highlight your performance and scalability claims, detect and correct bottlenecks in your application, and provide useful information about the hardware required to optimally run your solutions. Come to this session to learn about our “WebStress” feature that can help you design and run benchmark tests of your HTTP-based applications.

Hi colleagues!

Often, while developing a frontend app or any other communication vs REST API, it is worth having a Swagger UI - a test UI for the REST API that follows Open API 2.0 spec. Usually, it is quite a handful as it lets have quick manual tests vs REST API and its responses and the data inside.

Recently I've introduced the Swagger support to the InterSystems IRIS FHIR template for FHIR R4 API:

How to get it working.

I'm trying to keep all writes in local memory.

If you have S %A="""HI THERE"",!,#,33.33,"" "",$ZTIMESTAMP"

and you O 2 U 2 W @%A C 2 ZW ^SPOOL
^SPOOL(1,1)="HI THERE"_$c(13,10)
^SPOOL(1,2)=$c(13,12)
^SPOOL(1,3)="33.33 67016,59246.6188873"

It works just fine and the output is in the ^SPOOL global.

However, I'm trying to avoid writing to disk.

I can't find anything besides using the SPOOL device that will allow the use of the "@" indirection.

Current triage systems often rely on the experience of admitting physicians. This can lead to delays in care for some patients, especially when faced with inexperienced residents or non-critical symptoms. Additionally, it can result in unnecessary hospital admissions, straining resources and increasing healthcare costs.

Hello everyone,

I have an issue related to Visual Studio Code and its InterSystems extension when exporting routines from the database to the file system.

The code entered via the terminal editor is encoded in DOS code page 437, but when I export it to my file system, even if I set the file opening to DOS CP 437, the accented characters which are two bytes long cause problems.

Security Deployed classes

Hi Guys,

I'm converting our system from Ensemble 2014 to 2018 and we do have Security package of classes in deployed mode in our 2014 (eg. Users, Role, ...etc) which doesn't exist in our newly installed 2018, so how can I include those classes in 2018?

Thanks

MIRROR for Embedded Python ?

MIRROR is the best solution for almost immediate replications to a Failover Server.
The related mechanics are based on Global Journaling.

Globals hold Data and Classes and Routines and more ...
If Mirroring is in place all is in sync. With minimum delays
This is of course rather useful for code changes in Classes, Routines, ....

To what extent is Embedded Python covered by Mirroring?
Or:
What is required to Synchronize EmbeddedPython like Mirroring.

An interim idea to bring more dark to the docs with different font.

Process:

  • In Firefox web browser address bar navigate to: "about:support"
  • Look for label "Profile Folder", and click on the corresponding "Open Folder" button.
  • Drill-down / Open sub-folder called Chrome.
  • Create file here called: userContent.css

Content of file:

Any ideas on how this can be solved?

I need to use it with some Unicode text, in Docker image. And get this error. And documentation says nothing about it.

USER>do $zf(-100, "/SHELL", "echo", "test")
test

USER>do $zf(-100, "/SHELL", "echo", "test тест")

DO $ZF(-100, "/SHELL", "echo", "test тест")
^
<TRANSLATE>

I know that it works in some Linux environments without Docker, but no idea where is the difference.

Production Service connections

Hi Guys,

I have a service that picks up jobs and process them, is there a way that I can cap the number of attempts to pickup a certain job eg. 10 times if no response then just discard ?

Thanks
