I'm trying to use embedded python code that receives an Iris %Stream.GlobalBinary and uses image manipulation library PIL.

Because PIL can't work with IRIS %Stream, I need to convert the image to python bytes.

This process seems to have very bad performance compared to writing to a file and then loading it from a file in python.

Is there a better way to send a stream into python? The conversion code I'm using is below.

I am writing a Python tool to query our cache instances for various information. I have set up the connection without issue:

import intersys.pythonbind3 as pyb

conn = pyb.connection()
conn.connect_now(.....)

db = pyb.database(conn)
qry = pyb.query(db)
obj = pyb.object(db)

I wanted to make the call:

execRes = qry.prepare_class("SYS.Database",'FreeSpace')

But fetching fails because of data mismatches ( as I understand from other posts) and my testing bears out this type of failure.

A simple python script to copy/scrap/crawl a FHIR repository to another one.

The script is written in Python 3.

Install it from pip

python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install git+https://github.com/grongierisc/fhir-scraper
cp .venv/bin/fhir-scraper.py .

Edit fhir-scraper.py for your needs.

Run it :

python fhir-scraper.py

Hello there,

Someone know which impact would have my database changing the locale and its collationTable? I understand it should works fine, without any drawback.

Could someone else confirm my assumption or tell me what could happen? Has anyone changed something like that? (Not to russian, japanese, chinese, etc..)

About queries.. is there any side effect?

From my recent post, I uploaded a set of values into a global, and I am trying to compare the first field, and then

$GLOBAL("123", "bone issue")=""

$GLOBAL("234","joint issue")=""

Now, I want to compare and see if the DG1:4.1 segment has the code $GLOBAL and then replace the DG14.1 segment with the code and the description

so For Eg: if DG1:4.1 exists in $GLOBAL("123") then replace the segment with the code and description

Can someone guide me on how I can achieve this?

We have just completed a migration of a test environment from Ensemble 2012 to Ensemble 2017 on a new server. This is the last in a series of migrations but the first to encounter this particular issue. All web clients making SOAP requests to a particular external web service are receiving a fault that states:

The SOAP action specified on the message, '', does not match the HTTP SOAP Action, 'http://<expected target service action follows here>'.

Hi,

I am saving 2000 objects of a class in a loop.

In one environment it is taking a total of 86 seconds and in another environment it is taking 0.55 seconds.

The code (the class and the code for save) is same for both the environment. I have Ensemble 2012.1.5.956

Can somebody help me to identify the cause of the discrepancy. Is there any memory or any other setup which may cause the problem.

Can anyone point me to the docs that show how to add automatic class documentation for the arguments used in a method call? I can auto document the class, methods, properties etc. with the "///" but can't figure out how to get the nice argument documentation for the arguments used when calling a method.

Ran into an issue this morning, that I am having a hard time trying to track down what might have caused the issue. We have a Business Rule that sends HL7 ADT to a Business Process that inserts the data into a MS SQL Server using a Custom Business Operation (SQL Outbound Adapter).
