A common need for our customers is to configure both HealthShare HealthConnect and IRIS in high availability mode.

It's common for other integration engines on the market to be advertised as having "high availability" configurations, but that's not really true. In general, these solutions work with external databases and therefore, if these are not configured in high availability, when a database crash occurs or the connection to it is lost, the entire integration tool it becomes unusable.

While writing an article yesterday, I realized I was so busy with people who came to the Developer Community table at the Tech Exchange that I forgot to take photos for you. Luckily, I realized the error of my ways and corrected my behavior accordingly 😉

So, let's look at what happened on Tuesday at the InterSystems Ready 2025! It began with a speech of Scott Gnau about the approach and architecture of InterSystems Data Platform and how it is different from all other DBMSs:

Is it possible to audit code changes in a namespace?

Ideally what we'd like to be able to do is check which classes were compiled (or deleted) in a time period, eg in last 3 months, and which user made those changes. Even better would be an audit of what those changes were, but that's less important (for us, as we can probably find that information in other ways).

I want to limit the length of the value of a textarea in Zen. In HTML the textarea element has a 'maxlength' attribute, but the Zen component doesn't have an equivalent property. Is there any way to add a maximum length in Zen short of creating my own custom component?

I have been walking through this with a few team members and as such I thought there might be others out there who could use it, especially if you work with HL7 & Ensemble/HealthConnect/HealthShare and never venture out past the Interoperability section.

Setting the TZ Environment Variable on Linux
