In this article, I will introduce my application iris-RAG-Gen .

Iris-RAG-Gen is a generative AI Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) application that leverages the functionality of IRIS Vector Search to personalize ChatGPT with the help of the Streamlit web framework, LangChain, and OpenAI. The application uses IRIS as a vector store.

Application Features

• Ingest Documents (PDF or TXT) into IRIS
• Chat with the selected Ingested document
• Delete Ingested Documents
• OpenAI ChatGPT

I saw that we need to ask for the service account token because I mistakenly tried to obtain my own and obviously was getting permission errors.

Using Open Exchange to Learn InterSystems

InterSystems Open Exchange is a applications gallery of tools, connectors, and libraries which InterSystems Developers submit to share the experience, approaches and do business. All the applications are either built with InterSystems data platforms or are intended to use for development with InterSystems data platforms.

If you are a beginner developer you can take a look at applications in Technology Example category. All the applications in this category come with open source code repositories, so you are able to run the samples and examples in a docker container with IRIS on your laptop or in the cloud IRIS sandbox. UPDATE (Aug 1 2024): Recently I've been asked about the differences between this and the History Monitor functionality. In short, the data collection monitor builds on the history monitor by adding the ability to track growth of individual globals.

Our project was designed to optimize patient clinical outcomes by reducing hospitalization time and supporting the development of resident and novice physicians. Additionally, it contributes to lowering financial waste in the healthcare system by improving the monitoring of pregnant patients, thereby decreasing risks and enhancing their safety.
