Hello Everyone,

The Certification Team of InterSystems Learning Services is in the process of developing an exam focusing on creating and working with TrakCare Integration, and we need input from our InterSystems TrakCare community. Your input will be used to evaluate and establish the contents of the exam.

How do I provide my input? We will provide a list of job tasks. You will rate them on their importance as well as other factors.

How much effort is involved? It takes about 15-20 minutes to fill out the survey.

How can I access the survey?

As promised, here is Part 2 of our interview with Russ Leftwich! Hi All! Wanted to share this new video we've published, which might be of interest to people in the healthcare space. Achieving True Interoperability in Healthcare Systems is all about going beyond the typical "syntactic" interoperability and understanding what's needed to bring that interoperability to the next level in healthcare.

Introducing a new component driver for Deltanji source control, which enables highly granular management of InterSystems Interoperability Productions with tight integration into the management portal

InterSystems Interoperability Productions are defined in a single monolithic class definition. A production can contain many hundreds or thousands of configuration items. This presents a problem if multiple developers are working on different Business Processes within the same production simultaneously. Simultaneous development is almost inevitable for large productions containing many configuration items. 

We’re issuing a point release for InterSystems IRIS, IRIS for Health, and Health Connect 2025.1 — version 2025.1.0.225.1 — to address a critical interoperability issue affecting users who leverage System Default Setting enabled business hosts.

What’s the issue?
In certain configurations where a Business Host is marked as System Default Setting enabled, applying new settings via the UI may incorrectly indicate that changes were applied, even though the necessary restart did not occur.

Any time a change is made to the configuration of a running Production, an update is needed to apply any changes in configuration or default settings to the running Production. This has historically been a manual step by the user. Now, if the CCR Client Tools cause a running Production to need update, the Production is updated automatically. This means users will no longer have to navigate to the Production Configuration page and click the 'Update Production' button every time they load an ItemSet.

The 2025.3 release of InterSystems IRIS® data platform, InterSystems IRIS^® for Health, and HealthShare^® Health Connect is now Generally Available (GA). This is a Continuous Delivery (CD) release.

Release Highlights:

• Secure Wallet: A new encrypted framework for managing sensitive data, built on the IRISSECURITY database, improving system security and access control.
• Expanded Observability & Cloud Integrations: Enhanced OpenTelemetry metrics, including new process and ECP metrics, plus journal archiving now supports Azure Blob Storage for cost-efficient retention.

Hi All! We have a new online course that those of you who do integration work / create data transformations may be interested in: Editing Data Transformations via Code. This course is meant to build familiarity with the code behind data transformations in InterSystems products, enabling you to identify their class structures, logical elements, and more. Directly editing code can provide an efficient way of updating DTLs in some scenarios, but building expertise with it is key, since you lose the guardrails that the UI provides if you go straight to code.
