Hi all,

Just wondering if there's a quick way to get the DocType, without knowing it in advance, from a message body by building a string from the VersionID, MessageType, and TriggerEvent fields? (Similar to how it might be done dynamically in Rhapsody)

Can this then be used to set the DocType for a source message?

If this is not the best practice what is a suitable alternative approach?

We start this new article refreshing what we did in the previous EMPI configuration articles:

  • Installation in Standalone mode the Patient Index on a HealthShare instance.
  • Configuration of basic parameters to start working with the EMPI.
  • Definition of indexes and weights for NICE process.

Very well, we are practically ready to start rolling our EMPI. We only have one detail left, to start the production created by the installation to be able to start working.

I have an HL7 message that contains NTE segment with line break inside.

when I try to transform it (with DTL) it stops reading the message after the line break inside the NTE because it treat that as "End of Message".

Is there a way to solve this in the DTL or I need to run a pre process on the HL7 message that identify the line break inside the NTE segments and replace it with an escape char?

Currently we are exploring how we can allocate additional disk space to our current environment as we have seen a significant increase in growth of our Database files. Currently we have 3 namespaces, all with 1 IRIS.dat each that contains both the Global and Routines.

Since we have started down the route of everything within a single IRIS.dat file for each namespace, is it logical as we see growth to be able to split the current IRIS.dat for each namespace into a separate IRIS.dat for global and a IRIS.dat with for routines for each namespace in a Mirror environment?

Been testing out the Production Validator toolkit, just to see what we can/not do with it. Seems really interesting and there seem to be some use cases for it that can really streamline some upgrades (or at least parts of upgrades) but I was running into so many hurdles with the documentation. I am curious if anyone else has used it.

I have a server configuration in a CSP Gateway installed on a PC (let's call it S2) different from the main one (let's call it S1). This configuration allows me to access a web application that is installed on S1, from a client C asking S2 for this webapp. But for now it works only in HTTP between C and S2, and we would like to use HTTPS (as it already works between S2 and S1).

Convert X12 to SDA/FHIR

Hi

We are embarking on a project that we are injesting raw EDI files 837's to start with into HS.

We have and inbound X12 adaptor to take in the raw *.edi file and we have an business process that is mostly pass thru. we have been unable to find any DTL to map X12 to SDA/FHIR ( similar to the ones that exist for HL7 , CDA,CCD). If anybody has done anything on this front,would appreciate any tips.

Cures Act USCDI/ C-CDAv21 certification. I am looking for SDA3 examples for Newman-Bates-Kid/registry settings/advices on how to learn / whatever is helpful. InterSystems xsl files are clean but I am not working very often with xsl. I am mainly looking at Provenance and Clinical Notes, the 2 last errors we have. InterSystems documentation, so far I know, is very poor: only classes and some pages. Support has a small knowledge about SDA3 -> C-CDAv21 even if they try very hard to help.

We need to generate a PDF file from an HL7 message as it passes through an Ensemble production. Looking for examples, tutorials, documentation aligned to our scenario.

We are currently using Ensemble (so can't use InterSystems Reports at the moment). Thinking Zen reports...

We can get from HL7 to XML OK, following Introduction to InterSystems Health Connect - YouTube (see c.1:11:00-1:13:00)
