We got requirement to Migrate whole interfaces from prod instance (cache2017.1 ) to new instance iris2020.1.

Currently around 100+ integrations (health share and health connect) up and running in prod instance (cache2017.1 ) , we need to migrate this live server to brand new server with iris2020.1.

Could you please suggest me guidelines and best practises while doing this migration.

Please ping me any document reference for this kind of Lift and Shift Migration.

After migration done, we will use new Live (iris2020.1 )instance only.

One of my colleagues had developed an interface in Health Connect (HealthShare 2019.1) to add large amounts of data to an external SQL Server database. The data comes from many text files with delimited rows and data for one table per file. There is a business process to read a file line by line and send an Insert Request to an operation. The request contains an Insert statement like ‘Insert into TABLE columns (col1, col2, … colZ) values (val1, val2, … valZ).’ The Health Connect operation utilizes Outbound SQL Adapter to insert one row into a table per request.

I am working in Heath Share Heath Connect Integration.

I have a requirement to change SOAP call to REST call in integration. For SOAP call already payload is ready in XML string. and Working fine.

Now I need to make REST API call instead of existing SOAP call.

I have created REST Business Operation and ready to Call it from Business Process.

Here I should not change any Transformation in Business Process , only change  in Operation invocation

Only change is existing SOAP Operation expecting XML String , new REST Operation is expecting JSON.

Running HealthConnect 2021.1 on RedHat Linux 8.4.

I've configured IRIS/HealthConnect with an external web server to support TLS encryption. It's installed on the same server as IRIS, but is a different instance and version of Apache httpd. That all works as expected.

I would also like to keep the "private" web server available, but I'm having an issue with using the fully-qualified domain name in the URL vs. just the hostname itself.

If I use http://servername:52773/csp/sys/UtilHome.csp to log on, all is well.

If I use http://servername.domain.name.tld:52773/csp/sys/UtilHome.

I'm rather new to HealthConnect, and I've been doing a lot of work with the browser based SQL portal and don't particularly like it. Is there an alternative application that I can use, something like SQL Express or VScode with a plugin?

EnsLib.HL7.Adapter.TCPInboundAdapter has a Connected property that I assume is set to the state of the connection session with the remote host; i.e. 1 when Connected, 0 when not. I'm assuming this is the property the Production Configuration web page uses to display the state of the service (green for Connected, red for not Connected, etc.).

How can I interrogate the value of that property of an active service, via a method running in separate process?

(It really seems like I should know this, but I'm just not finding the right magical incantation)

I work as an Integration Engineer for United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). I work on a Health Connect production which processes many RecordMap files. I do not fully understand RecordMaps and I wanted to develop an application for the Interoperability contest where I could learn more about working with RecordMaps. I browsed InterSystems documentation for inspiration on how to start. I was happy to find CSV Record Wizard. I had created a CSV file for my Analytics contest entry. I wanted to use it to test the CSV Record Wizard. It was not obvious how to use it.

is there a command line  function I can use to export the user file.  The names off all the  user in Health Share or Health Connect.  Export it into some type of flat file?

New to Health Connect so please forgive me if this is a stupid question! Is there a specific error code returned when a user initiates an abort from the jobs tab of the business host? I want to be able to treat the Abort as Completed due to our complex business process. Currently, hitting abort just retries the message to the same business operation. Want I want to do is provide the error code used by the Abort (if there is one) and treat it as OK

I have been working on redesigning a Health Connect production which runs on a mirrored instance of Healthshare 2019. We were told to take advantage of containers. We got to work on IRIS 2020.1 and split the database part from the Interoperability part. We had the IRIS mirror running on EC2 instances and used containers to run IRIS interoperability application. Eventually we decided to run the data tier in containers as well. Later we switched from using EC2 instances to Fargate “server-less” compute.

I heard about Message Bank when we started redesigning a Health Connect production to run in containers in the cloud. Since there will be multiple IRIS containers, we were directed to utilize Message Bank as one place to view messages and logs from all containers.

How does Message Bank work?

I added Message Bank operation to our Interoperability Production. It automatically sends messages and event logs to the Message Bank.

I have a requirement where I have to create a TIF file from base64 encoded string comes in HL7 message.

I am reading content and writing to  %Stream.FileBinary after decoding and using  ..Adapter.PutStream ( EnsLib.File.OutboundAdapter) to create a file at operation. the file is getting created but its corrupted.

IS this even possible in cache? what is the correct way of doing this?

We need to upgrade from Healthshare 2016.2 to HealthConnect latest but we are too far behind the current version to do an upgrade in situ.

So I need to create a new instance of HealthConnect and the copy across all the database definitions, namespaces and classes.

I know its possible to script this stuff and pull all the definitions out of the old Healthshare system and then apply them to the new HealthConnect instance.

Has anyone done anything like this before that they would be happy to share with me so I could use it as a starting point rather than re-invent the wheel again?

Hello developer community, I'm looking for Ensemble production sftp examples. I need to copy hl7 files hourly from several servers to a central server. The local documentation is no longer as good as it used to be. I remember several years ago, the documentation would take you step by step doing this.  Any information would be appreciated.

Introduction

This article aims to provide an overview of InterSystems IRIS FHIR Accelerator Service (FHIRaaS) driven by the implementation of application iris-on-fhir, available in OEX developed for the FHIRaaS contest.

A basic tutorial will guide you in configuring a function FHIRaaS deployment, including an API key and an OAuth 2.0 server.

A library to use FHIR resources through FHIRaaS also is briefly discussed.

Finally, some features of the iris-on-fhir application are shown in separted articles. You can check out the full code at the application’s github repository.

I believe most of you have encounted this problem: a healthconnect/ensemble user get a slow response and ask measurement on how long it takes ensmeble to process this request, the ensemble 'activity data' gives no clue of the delay.

The reason is HealthConnect message measurement was based on ensemble message, which can’t give a correct answer on when ensmeble recevie the request and what time it send back response. when there is delay on inbound/outbound adpter, or csp gateway, there is no way to find out the delay from "activity data" . 

I am asked by a customer how to deal with this problem.

Hi, I am loading zpm for the first time. I downloaded the %ZPM.Installer xml file and then tried to import it trough the Cache Studio. Upgraded healthshare to health connect. The search box is not selecting the correct url 

i.e. selecting message loads

instead of this which when go through the menu it loads
