We've reached the end of this #GlobalSummit23 - the last day! And this is our day - programmers' day. The keynotes today were all dedicated to the developers, their growth, aspirations and innovations.
The past two days at the InterSystems Global Summit have been nothing short of extraordinary, and I'm thrilled to share the highlights of this incredible experience with you!

The time that many of the Developer Community members, InterSystems Partners, and just people interested in InterSystems products, had been looking forward to has arrived! Finally, after an excruciatingly long pause, this year's Global Summit is again held in person! This time it's in Seattle! A beautiful city with steep hills, breathtaking views of Elliot Bay, and, from the words of locals, constantly bad weather
I'm reasonably sure that a lot of you would've liked to be present at the Global Summit 2023 but for one reason or another, you couldn't be present. Here is a brief recount of what went on on 4th and 5th of June.

This session will show you how you identify the weakest link in your application SQL and introduce you to the fine art of tuning those queries. To do this we will take a look at InterSystems query profiling and analysis tools, as well as how system configuration can impact SQL performance.

GlobalSummit too close now, so many people going to be there from so many companies. I'm sure that somebody already uses Docker or even Kubernetes in their work, I do. And would like to share my experience and thoughts about what could be better. And want to hear other people about their experience, how you use Docker, what issues have you faced and how did you solve it. I think InterSystems will help us to find time and place when we could do it, and hope @Luca Ravazzolo will join us.
We've just finished the second day of focus sessions - with a LOT of great content! With parallel tracks, it's hard to keep up - but one advantage of a virtual conference is that you can watch anything you missed on-demand!
The second week of Virtual Summit 2020 kicked off with the first day of focus sessions. We covered a LOT of great content - 38 sessions across a wide range of subjects. I thought it would be valuable to recap and review some of the bigger announcements and talking points.

As before, each day started with the keynotes (which you should be able to watch tomorrow ). But unlike the keynotes on June, 21 the following day they were dedicated to Data Platform IRIS. It's a wrap! All of the focus sessions have aired now. Of course, all of our 102 pre-recorded focus sessions are available on-demand now, so you can watch any and all of them, even if you missed the opportunity for live Q&A.
InterSystems worked closely with the Red Hat Insights team to implement a curated set of recommendations for system administrators to ensure the best experience running InterSystems IRIS on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
