I've got a csp page that has successfully set up a websocket connection to a Cache class. When the websocket object's close function is triggered at the browser I was expecting one of the class' methods to fire at the server. The onclose method is triggered at the browser but nothing at the server. Is a method supposed to fire at the server?
Cache for Windows (x86-64) 2015.1.4 (Build 803_6) Tue May 15 2018 12:08:36 EDT
I hope this is the right forum to ask this type of question, but I'm running out of ideas.
For reasons beyond my control, we run a version of Intersystems Caché (2013.1) that is not supported by Atelier. As such, I use Caché Studio to do my development. The issue I have is, I don't run Windows or MAC, but Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 in my case). I've successfully managed to get Studio working using Wine and pretty much everything is usable.
Hi, I am new to the forum (not new to Mumps, M, DTM, MSM, M-Technology, Cache etc.) and I work as an Operations Director for a Cache software house, is there somewhere I/we can advertise for Cache developer related jobs/vacancies that we have? Apologies if this is not the right approach, but don't see anything obvious and when searching for jobs just see Intersystems announcements for various positions.
we are wondering if anybody has a reporting tool that is capable using IRIS Objects?
I know there are things like Crystal Reports and others out there who can read the SQL Data throug ODBC but we need the capability of using object methods while running the report.
Since now we where using a JAVA based report generator (ReportWeaver) but since the object binding for JAVA doesn't exist anymore in IRIS data platform, did any of you have an alternative report generator?
CSP pages extend %CSP.Page. What about html/css/js/etc that are hosted on the same web application? Is there any way to override how they're processed like with how you can override a CSP page and CSP REST logic?
I'm currenlty searching the developers coummnity , but thought I asked this question while I search. How can I use the task schedulrer to purge backups? Do i have to create my own class? Examples on doing this?
I'm trying to set Caché-Python Binding on Mac, but there is a problem.
I performed installation and configuration of Caché-Python binding module based on the manual (URL) including setting of PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH in "bash_profile", and they seems to be done successfully (there was no error in the process).
We recently moved our workstations to Windows 10 and so we updated all our local installations to IRIS (servers already run IRIS 2019.1). Now we are trying to connect our pyCharm to IRIS but we can't succeed.
