We're getting a string sent to us by a client that was compressed using a java deflater (the zlib algorithm) and when trying to use $System.Util.Decompress() I get an "illegal value" error. I gather from other community posts that this is because the raw compressed string is missing the customized wrapper Iris automatically adds. I know this has been a longstanding issue for a while...just wanted to check if there'd been any updates to this functionality, or successful workarounds for decompressing raw zlib compressed data. I am curious as to why one would use lookup tables, and what would be the best practices regarding them. We have two namespaces, and we would like to use the lookup table in each one. But, there's no clear outline of when to use them, and what are the best ways to use them?

Last year we introduced our new angular-based View page for CCR as part of the UI refresh for the application. This has been used very effectively by close to 1000 users around the world as the default UI for viewing CCR, and as a result we're getting ready to completely disable the "classic" View page.
It's not clear to me, when using the InterSystems Container Repository, which version is the best / most recent non-preview Community Edition version to use.
I see lots of 2023.2.x versions, a single 2023.3 and 2024.1 version, but also a latest-cd and latest-em (with no explanation as to what cd and em mean).
I assume the trick is to use one of the latest-xx ones? If so, which?

we get HL7 ORU messages from a laboratory system. Messages that do not contain an observation date should not be forwarded to the business operation. My problem is that the observation date can be in any repetition of the ORCgrp. How can I loop through the ORCgrps in a business rule?

I have a production with one Business Host - a Business Service which I need to scale automatically to consume ~80% of CPU time. Business Service pulls data from a (non-FIFO) queue so that I can adjust pool size without any issues.
So far, I'm planning a different BS running every X seconds and sampling CPU with $system.Process.GetCPUTime() and scaling the pool size of the main BS up/down based on that metric.
Has anyone tried something similar? Any advice/code samples would be appreciated.
I have a fixed width complex recordmap that is an older version of a file format. I am trying to retool it to fit the latest version. The old recordmap has almost 500 entries on it and the new version has a few more fields added along with changes to some field lengths. Adding a new field adds it at the end of the recordmap and moving it from field 490 to field 139 is a painful process. Is there an easier way of doing this?
We have some custom tools that do project based deployment from environment to environment. In VS Code, we're struggling to find the best way to export PRJ files that contain the contents of a project the way we were able to in Studio. We can edit existing projects, and in server side editing we can create projects, but we can't seem to extract the project files (Not the classes, the wrapper) to store in our source control solution for deployment purposes.

I've been trying for a while to come up with a set of tools to monitor the health of a mirror set and email a report nightly on the status of the mirror, or flag issues in real time. Making sure that all the databases are caught up, that all the mirror members are online.

I need a way to securely store credentials in IRIS that are used to access third-party APIs. These credentials include different clientId/secret pairs that I don't want to expose. While I know that it's possible to define Production Credentials in Ens.Config.Credentials, I understand that they are stored in plain text.
