I am trying to log certain program data in my ObjectScript REST class, to track down a bug I have. I am comparing two values at runtime, and one result does one thing, and another a different thing. Since this is a REST API class, I have no way of seeing in real time what the value is to debug. I cannot simply run the method in debug in Studio as it will not run properly being a REST class method, nor have the correct incoming header data to correctly replicate what is happening in the API at runtime when being hit by client apps.

I was curious if anyone had any success/tips with regards to using a global or a system parameter/property to control the behavior of a transform or process/operation.

Is there a parameter I can currently reference from the system that can be used for an if/else, or am I best off creating a simple Global and setting it according to the environment I am in?

This may be a very specific problem but might help with some general information that I wasn't able to find anywhere.

I have started to train 2 IntegratedML models using AutoML one month ago.

I am very pleased with the added XML import/export feature in VS Code, this is something I found valuable in Studio. Similarly, I would find it very useful to allow import/export of .rtn files from VS Code. Is this currently possible (other than using SMP)? If not, are there plans for adding this? I frequently work with exported routines in .rtn format that I import into multiple instances.

Just curious what the process is for debugging either a .py file that is uploaded to a specific namespace/location or a python classmethod defined in a .cls file.

My method can be run via the "Debug" breadcrumb but it doesnt hit breakpoints it just runs without a debugger. Also objectscript methods debug correctly

I have been asked whether it's possible to use a DNS name to resolve the IP address rather than statically assigning one specific IP address in the TCP Operation.

If it's not possible to resolve on a DNS name directly on the TCP operation, then I wondered whether it was possible to provide multiple IP addresses.

We have tried to use:
