The third developer previews of InterSystems IRIS^® data platform, InterSystems IRIS^® for Health, and HealthShare^® Health Connect 2026.1 have been posted to the WRC developer preview site.  Containers can be found on our container registry and are tagged latest-preview.

These developer previews includes the dropping of Mac Intel support starting from 2026.1.0, and the adding back of Windows Server 2019 support to 2026.1.0.

IPM version 0.10.5 has been released on January 15, 2026. This new version contains a ton of improvements and bug fixes so be sure to check it out either directly from the GitHub page or from the Community Registry!

The big changes include the following:

• A rewrite of dependency resolution that drastically improves performance, including a 200x speed increase in very complicated cases
• A History Log that tracks the IPM installs, loads, updates, and uninstalls that can be viewed using zpm "log" 
• System expressions, like ${namespace}, and $$$ macros are now evaluated in CPF merge files allow

IRIS containers have been tagged using the full build number format, for example 2023.1.0.235.1.  Customers have been asking for more stable tags, so they don’t need to change their dockerfiles/Kubernetes files every time a new release is made.  With that in mind, we’re making the following changes to how we tag container images.

InterSystems is pleased to announce that version 3.0.5 of the VS Code - ObjectScript extension has been released. This release includes many bug fixes, as well as changes to the telemetry data we collect. Collecting more product usage data helps InterSystems identify and prioritize fixes and enhancements that will have the most positive impact for you, our users. Personally identifiable information (PII) will never be collected, and telemetry can be disabled using the telemetry.telemetryLevel setting. InterSystems IRIS 2025.2 introduces the IRISSECURITY database, the new home for security data. Unlike IRISSYS, the previous home for security data, IRISSECURITY can be encrypted, which secures your sensitive data at rest. In a future version, IRISSECURITY will be mirrorable.
