How to remove special characters (Unicode Characters) from text

It helps to remove special characters, such as non-utf-8 characters either control characters or unicode characters from text that is not printable or can't be parsed by downstream systems.

There is also $C(32) in this condition; sometimes NBSP appears in the text and it will not be recognized by TIE, but downstream it displays as "?".

How to convert UTF8 special characters to the actual character

We are receiving the report in text format and it has special characters like ', - like that in the text. Source system is using the UTF8 encoding format hence the text is showing as ' � ' . Is there a way to convert the utf8 to actual character in the DTL.

Select View throwing Error "References to an SQL connection must constitute a whole subquery"

I have created view from External table joins internal persistent table. Create VIEW worked but Select * from Viewxxx throwing error.

How to install Python in IRIS

Could you please help anyone how to import Python package in %SYSTEM package and to use python methods to write in object script class?

I used the following link to install the Python but I can't see the Python package in %SYSTEM package and my program throwing the Class Does not exist error?

How to import vR4 packages in my IRIS 2020.1

Can you please suggest how to import vR4 packages for my FHIR application implementation. I can see SDA3 packages but want to work with vR4.

Is there any version compatibility for SDA3/vR4? What is the difference of SDA3 and vR4?

How to get Segment values in SQL query editor

Hi,

I am trying to find out individual segment values in Message viewer and it display the values in Management portal, copied the query and run it on SQL editor, Segment values displayed with blank. Is there a way to get the individual segment values using query?
