Hi

Does anyone know where the user generated code resides, the stuff one might write for a production, I presume it lives in a table somewhere within a database?

Basically, I want to do some dependency analysis of what I've written - find out what's in use, how it's referenced, etc. I know I can export it to an XML file and work on that, but direct access on a table would be quicker for me.

Hello community,

I need to know if there is any method which can me say specified imported files or namespaces in Cache.

To better specification of my problem, I've got two installer manifests. Firts one did some resource changing and import some files and classes, second one must be started after the first one, because it's only his update, which creates some nemaspaces. So i need to check if the first manifest ran succesful and I can start the second one.

Some IF statements reference macro $$$WindowsCacheClient as a boolean flag to mark if the client calling the LDAP server is running Windows. Other IF statements reference $$$ISWINDOWS. Are they not the same thing? That is, does the routine need $$$WindowsCacheClient at all?

Hi all,

We just encountered an instance of a result set RS and while looping through the results, RS is getting overwritten when method 1 calls out to method 2 (in the same class). Method 2 creates it own result set also named RS.

This code is several years old and never had this problem. When I changed the name of the result set variable in method 1 the problem cleared up.

I though that variables were automatically 'newed' in classmethods. ???

I like to be able to call an "autohotkey" executable message box from within a running Cache routine executing as a jobbed routine. The autohotkey executable displays a small pop-up window with a message and an "OK" button .. and will time out in 10 seconds if the user does not press the OK button.

Although $ZF(-1,cmd) executes (where "cmd" contains a simple batch command e.g. @c:\autohotkey\warning.exe), no interactive window appears and, once the autohotkey routine times out, the calling cache routine simply continues.

I want to add time slot and category metadata to complete my cinema application.

I am following the documentation of the cinema application "https://docs.intersystems.com/latest/csp/docbook/Doc.View.cls?KEY=TWEB2_..." and in that,

I was trying to add theater and time slot. But I was not able to do that.

I was also trying to filter the records as per the ratings and category selection on the search bar. but this is showing some error.

RDP ODBC Connection Issue

Interesting issue we found. When making an ODBC connection from a host via RDP, the IP address shown as making the connection is the client IP address, not the host from where the connection initiated. Has anyone seen that or know how to get around it?

Example:

My Computer(10.X.X.112) -> RDP to Host1(10.X.X.93) -> ODBC connection to Server1(10.X.X.12). Cache Portal -> System -> License Usage -> Usage by User shows My Computer's IP address as making the connection rather than Host1.

Is there a method I can utilise to check if a particular method has been called and perhaps log the args it was called with?

We are currently trying to expand out Cache Unit Testing processes and were wondering if there is an existing method that would capture this or how such a method could be structured.

I have problem with Cache installed on a colleague's Windows 10 laptop. On the laptop, Cache was automatically configured to use IIS and this has worked fine with csp applications configured in the Management Portal.

Now this seems to have stopped working, and I can't work out why. In IIS, the web application seems to be in the correct place.

I have manually mapped the various file extensions to CSPms, as per the documentation, but any attempt to navigate to a csp page produces an 500 error, which tells me precisely nothing about why this is happening.

Hello, I am trying to write a script that will output a .log file. When I get PowerShell to parse the file with Get-Content, I find that there are extra spaces in the parsing. How can I edit my Intersystems script to output a logfile encoded differently? I think its outputting in unicode by default.

Zen Report page number variable

I have a report that requires a different header block for the first page and another for subsequent pages.

Is there a way to direct a header page to another header page based on what the current page number is?

Hello everyone, I need some help.

I have to send some events for a government WebService that I already imported the WSDL and XSD's and It worked fine and I'm able to build the message and connect into the service, but It has been rejected with the message that the XML is wrong and the only diference between the Caché SOAP message to all the examples that the government gave us is the header:

Our application has a ZEN report that accepts a sorting parameter and a fundraiser parameter. Sorting tells us which order the pages are to be in and the fundraiser limits the data shown (e.g. which user has requested the report)

Currently have an SFTP server setup to deliver a CSV file to a company "Company XYZ"

Failed to move '\\dir-01\files\Company XYZ\Outbound\To Be Processed\Company XYZ data v1.csv' to Archive file '\\dir-01\files\Company XYZ\Outbound\Archive\Company_XYZ_v1.csv'

The Business Service File Spec : Company XYZ v1.csv

archive path same as listed above

Is it the File Spec that needs to be changed for this to prevent erroring out?

Hello,

I need to ensure that the task created/scheduled, by system user, is created in the routine database and not remotely in the ECP to which it is connected. How can I guarantee the creation/scheduling of this task?

Hello! I am currently creating a class for a small error trap. I have it working and all is good but I really want to change the order of the fields in the SQL return from Alphabetical to something else.

The current Order is ID, ActionType, ErrorCount, ErrorDetails, Model, ResultCode, ResultMessage, Stock and Yard

I would really like for the field order to be ID, Yard, Stock, Model, etc.
