Create a local copy of a linked table

As foreign tables are behind a paywall (booo); we have a external cache system using the intersystems ODBC driver or usually a .jar CacheDB.jar.

Non ascii characters got considered as a question mark inside regex engine. Is this a bug ?

Should I report it to InterSystems ? In my case, a way to detect non standard ascii code in a string will be good enough.
