Hello, Does the NodeJs package work when running a node js file on windows (nodejs for windows)? I've added the package by running npm install <package location folder>
I have the following index.js file, but when running from node (windows) I get the following error. Does the NodeJs package build the output files when the package is added or does it just assume linux as the underlying os?
When handling a %CSP.REST API response for a custom endpoint, how can I capture or access the response content before it is written to the output buffer and sent through the Web Gateway to the UI?
Hey guys!
I'm working on a Java application that connects to Iris via JDBC.
I need to disable SharedMemory via connection URL.
I would like to know how I can check if the parameter was turned on or off within Iris when connecting to Java.
Thanks for your help!
I'm using $system.obj.load() to synchronize a folder contains many classes (CLS) in UDL format. I use "-d" as flag (compilation is done later one). It's already done in parallel to make it as fast as possible but I was wondering if there was way to make this even faster, for example using some tradeoffs (eg: by turning off some features before loading them all (that would be re-enabled later on)). It's currently taking 250 seconds to import 3000 classes. MAC file and GBL import is much faster.
Can someone point me to learning resources / documentation for Intersystems Terminal? I have scoured YouTube, Intersystems documentation, and the internet. Many of the Object Script commands I found don't work (and that are listed here) do not work in the version of terminal that I have:
i use %SYSTEM.WorkMgr to handle data by multicompile=1,but i find that, after WaitForComplete, the processes created by %SYSTEM.WorkMgr are still stand by,
Hi, I want to automate a menu based program for which I don't have the source
If I run it interactively I do this: do ^<program>
It presents a menu and then you can go down further menus
Based on the selection it may ask for answers to other questions.
Is there some way I give the program a "response" file?
If not would I be able to use I/O redirection for this task? Inputs would come from a file. Output should go to the terminal (so I monitor how far the process has gone)
I'm trying to open a TCP connection to a remote system. The Caché command I'm using to open the connection is OPEN "|TCP|"_PORT:(IP::"PSE"):10 where PORT is a port number in the range 40000 to 40100 and IP is a standard IPv4 addess like 10.200.100.50
the connection appears to open because $TEST becomes 1.
I'm then writing to the open port with USE "|TCP|"_PORT:(::"S") WRITE "some text",*-3
It's a windows system
I'm trying to convert date - 2023-09-28T20:35:41Z to BST/GMT format. I tried with $ZDT($ZDTH("2023-09-28T20:35:41Z",-2),8,1) but it's giving the output as '19700101 01:33:43' and looks link the date format in $ZDTH specified is wrong. Any inputs or solution would be appreciated.
The question I have is if I run an External backup this library rotuine is called: ##Class(Backup.General).ExternalFreeze()
Is there a command I can run that shows me the Iris system is frozen due to the call to ##Class(Backup.General).ExternalFreeze()?
If the system is frozen I cannot sign into Iris terminal session.
I backup the IRIS server using Veeam. Veeam calls the "freeze" script, snapshots the server in VMWare, then calls the "thaw" script. Veeam then backs up the VMWare snapshot.
I'm trying to deploy a python/flask application to an Iris4Health container (2025.1) but running into some issues with packages and where they should be installed.
We are currently switching from Studio to VSCode and central GIT with Serverside Development and have a few start problems. I have set up a system with Git.
The baseline commit including remote push works.
But now I have a problem with the VSCode. When I create and compile a new class, it saves it correctly. But if I want to make further changes to the class, it saves the class and loads it again with the previous status. So the changes I made are gone again.
I'm in the process of setting up InterSystems IRIS for HealthShare with database mirroring, and I’d appreciate some guidance around how to handle an existing ODBC connection in this new setup.
When batch inserting data into a table via SQL, I can use the %NOCHECK keyword to avoid checking foreign key integrity. This would be appropriate for cases when the inserted data has been verified by some external process.
However, when inserting via objects, I don't see a way to get the same behavior. Are there any workarounds that use objects for this?
when using $zt($P($H,",",2)) from terminal it gives the correct local server time but when using it in my cache code it gives an incorrect time (5 hrs difference)
I'm trying to make a connection to an external database using %SQLGatewayConnection, but the connection always fails. DSN properly configured. I try to make the same connection through isql in bash, and the connection is successful.
I have a Cache backup file in .cbk format that were backup in 2017. The application has since be decommissioned. Management now would like to extract the data from this database. Any in your expertise is greatly appreciated. I am in IT and have SQL Server guy. I don't know anything about InterSystems Cache Database system.
Hi everyone, My name is Emmanuel Katto. What performance tuning techniques have you found most effective when working with InterSystems IRIS? Any specific metrics to monitor?
